Every kid who chose the Lions when it would have been easier to go elsewhere.
The coaches, all of them since Joe, who came to Penn State knowing it would be a huge challenge. I'm talking about assistants too.
The fans who have stuck it out, knowing how vilified and unfairly labeled they have been.

Yep...it has been the fans, really. Kids saw and wanted to play in front of 107,000 supportive fans. While there were games with only 85,000 or so, they were always rabid, supportive and polite (for the most part). We didn't get a lot of five stars, but when you chose between MD/Rutgers/Pitt and PSU, what fans get you juiced? The fans sustained this program...no two ways about it.
