I owe you an apology Abro. I saw this post and I said to my son, this guys drunk again, no way is there a match tonight. So I then go to the tv guide and there it is. I stand corrected.

So my apologies to you.

But the funny part is on my guide they only gave the match on for an hour of time and its labled BTN wrestling in 60 Rutgers at Ohio St. I know it must be wrong, but that made me laugh.

I like that. I also think Pletcher will make Ash work harder than the rankings would indicate. Not calling the upset but man I want too.

Might be that Im playing with the houses money from last night! The only guy to take the Pats in a house full of Falcons betters. The saying goes, he who laughs last, laughs the loudest!

I cut way down on my drinking. Now only Thur- Sunday. What's a Seton Hall Pirate doing following wrestling anyway ? lol. I'm such a 'seasoned' fan I remember when SHU had a D1 team. Seton Hall Prep still has a pretty good team, but hard to compete with the BergenCounty Parochials and Delbarton.

Not to worry , I have thick skin (and a thin wallet, lol). PS- I just got home from an awesome Super Bowl Party, things got fuzzy after a while, but made it home w some assisantance. Looking forward to this match.

I was thinking that if Theobold could get on top of Jordan, he could give him some trouble, given Jordan's struggles on bottom. But Jordan with four TDs in the first period. 8-3 Jordan, end 1.

I may be way off, but after watching M Jordan for a few matches, He could be "Almost" as good as Retherford...In my humble opinion he is still recovering from that unbelievable cut last season...how the hell did he make 141 for an entire season?? he is really good on his feet.................I know the score Zain put on him says dominance...but am I the only one who thought the actual match was closer than the score? Zain is 2 steps above...but I think Micah should be better than Sorensen....maybe I am crazy, But he shows some brilliance that Sorensen does not show. But Sorensen has shown alot more consistency....ugh?? Day off, a few beers , watching BTN, Ignore me...but am wondering what Micah would be under Cael??? would Cael have taken Jordan over Sorensen?.....I know Zain is the ultimate stud, Live near Benton and know we are lucky!! but between sorensen and Jordan...who has the higher ceiling under Cael??? I say Jordan?

Looks like Ohio State went from 15000+ attendance on Friday to about 500 tonight. This match might actually wind up to be close if Gravina can beat Martin.

Ok. I totally take that back. If they managed to win 125 also, they'd have 18. tOSU would need 11 team points between Moore, Snyder and Tomasello to tie and I think those three will get way more than that.

In serious response to your post, Micah is pretty darn good on his feet, and solid on top. Bottom wrestling, I don't know if they teach it in Columbus??

I would take Jordan with Cael over Sorenson with Cael probably as well, due to pretty much the same reason you're implying (seems more pliable)

Best case scenario for BS is the 2 seed at the tournament and if he did that means he beat Micah then Zain and would have beat Zain again then either Collica or Mayes. I would take odds against the bet of that happening lol

I think they were picking the B1G champs, not NCAA.

Tim picking Sorenson over Zain was funny. He's never beaten Zain.

As was pointed out by kid, but exactly when is a 20 - 5 beating not a dominant performance. Jordan took him down twice and got his ass kicked. The look of defeat on Jordan's face pretty told me Jordan did not walk off the mat thinking I an thiiiiis close. More like wow, I did not see that coming.

Comparing Jordan to Sorensen is a waste of time, at least right now. Until he can get off the bottom Sorensen can beat him every time 2 - 0.
Right now Jordan would be better taking neutral against Sorensen.

I guess I can't use any of tim's predictions...Sorensen over zain..yeah right:mad:...But then I can't be happy about his other picks I agree with!!! To be honest, I love Bo but can not pick him over Dean until I see it for myself!! Will celebrate very loudly when it happens though!!!!

I agree completely, sorensen is a better wrestler right now. I think his development was hurt because of what was asked of him last season.. maybe he does not have it underneath...or maybe he really hurt his development cutting so much for so long?

Weird sequence in Gravina-Martin...4-1 MyMar after two. Ryan appears to be giving his guy some extra breaths as he challenges after the end of the period instead of after the break in action with 14 seconds left. Goodale not happy
 
The referee tonight is very decisive but also often very, very wrong. Witness Gravina having the cradle locked at the edge of the mat and not getting 2. Also the VanBrill match was a joke.
