tOSU - Indiana game thread

Bucknuts gonna win this going away -- maybe by 3 TDs.
Gonna wear the IU defense down in second half.

Wasn't that a lot of holding on the WR on that play?

Holding in the B1G?

Ohio State taking over up front. This has nothing to do with Kevin Wilson.

And they will face two teams who are much better up front defensively than Indiana this year. One of them is Penn State.

In the end, it is always the lines that control the game. Unfortunately, Indiana is greatly over-matched in that department this evening.

As I said, they will face two teams that they cannot just push 10 yards off the line this year and one of them is PSU. At that point, what Kevin Wilson is, or is not doing, will indeed matter. We'll see.

From the looks of it, Coach Wilson needs to work on the WR position. Fairly pathetic for an 'elite' team.

Didn't they say tOSU front 7 was better than most NFL teams....why can't they stop a middling IU team. They may be good but there secondary is a joke

Maybe. He's made some pretty bad decisions so far. Inserting the fresh QB when Lagow was hot was stupid.
His management of time and plays on this final drive has been horrible.
Or maybe he's new and a bit nervous.

Really? Because I pretty much thought taking the 10 sec. run off was a no brainer.
And you can't deny inserting the freshman QB kind of slowed down their momentum.
But being nervous and worrying about other things can cause someone to make bad decisions. Is coaching the only profession where people don't get better? They're as good as they're going to be on day one?

This game is perfect example of how it's difficult to have expectations of a 10 or 11 win season. So many dangerous teams in our schedule.

I agree but PSU hopefully runs it down their throats and limits IU chances for example. OSU hasn't been able to run consistently. A couple of drives yes, but they have gotten stuffed a lot too. If the OL has improved like we hope, that will be a huge advantage.

Of course he can get better and he probably will, I never said he wouldn't.
But some of his decisions have been dumb. Hopefully he'll learn from them.
But after our game.

It's also a perfect example of why they shouldn't start ranking teams until the end of September. Teams like tosu get an early bump in the polls based on nothing more than reputation. The truth is meyer's buckeyes have been underwhelming for more than an entire season...and yet they continue living in the top 10.
