Troll help

Hah, we hope to see Shak this weekend, but we don’t know. Hopefully, since it was announced officially he was going 197, he will be going this weekend.

just read this in the CDT story posted in another thread.

Sanderson said former All-American Rasheed has been medically cleared and will be good to go for this weekend’s duals against Illinois and Northwestern.

Thank you, my friend! I appreciate the update! :)

Hopefully, he'll stay healthy so he can make a good run at it. Don't know that he can beat Moore, but I think after Moore it's wide open. Should be a fun tournament to watch!

Again, thanks for the update!

I think we see Shak this Friday against Illinois. It will also be interesting to see who they send out at 125lbs and 157lbs.

I wasn't aware there was an issue with Berge. Hope it's nothing long-term. Your 25 looks "almost" like our 84...couple decent options, just none that show serious promise of doing significant damage in March. I thought Teske would have come along better than he has, and I thought the same for Teasdale. Perhaps they'll both come around next year...

Edit: Just saw that Teske entered the transfer portal and that you now have Adam Busiello as a potential option at 25. From the Flo article, he looks like he can make an immediate impact if he goes at 25...

I would probably agree with that, but I also wouldn’t put it past Moore to lose a head scratcher in the quarters or semis.

Busiello registered, but didn’t compete, at the Wilkes Open at 149. So I doubt he can be a 125 this season or likely ever again (though I’m not sure anyone really knows where he’s at weight wise). It looks like Meredith is our guy at 125.

Like someone else said I think the 125lb days for Adam are over. That appears to be a hell of a cut for him at this point.

I also suspect he won’t be available until next season. I think he is in the same position as Kirkvleit since he transferred after signing a NLI. If I am wrong about Adam’s eligibility someone can feel free to let correct me.

The part that isn't publicly known about either of them, is if they received releases.

Recall Jake Kemerer transferring from Oklahoma after 1 summer. Spates held up his release for months but eventually granted it one he felt Kemerer had learned his lesson (or whatever old school/hard nosed language he used at the time).

Didn't realize how sensitive you guys are. Damn. Yes we all love Nevills but he may not even qualify for NCAAs and even if he does hed only score a few points. Not sure whats so horrible about saying the truth. Guess no realist things can be said on here.
Your delusions may be real but don't confuse that with realism

That's a good point. Like most, he's had a few close matches that clearly could have gone either way.

WRT 125, just like our 184, it'll be interesting to see who takes to the mat each dual...

Thank you for the information, my friend.

WRT Moore, that's a good point. Like most, he's had a few close matches that could have gone either way. And we Iowa guys know better than most - at least the last few seasons - that the seedings don't mean all that much once the action begins. :(
