Cortez is very talented. Hammer on top. Knee injury (ligament sprain I think) his senior year slowed him down but he still managed to get state title #4. Very nomadic wrestling career though. Few different states as a youth, couple high schools and now 2nd university. Very talented. He's an Illinois Boy - maybe PBS can give us some scoop beyond the rankings.
Papa Bear Slim - Hellloooooooooo ... Are you lurking about out there?
We need some sort of Bat Signal or Aquaman's ability to send out our request for help telepathically.

Some posters on HR talk as if Lee is genetically predisposed to wrestle for Brands and that Lee going to Iowa is their birthright.
Willie's comment about Lee possibly (POSSIBLY) committing early has only ratcheted up that talk.
Not just Lee -- they've also talked that way about Suriano. And Hall.
Good get with Cortez.
Here's his bio from last season: http://www.wrestlestats.com/wrestler/profile/19934/cortez-jered
I'm sure some of you will notice, but the new "style" to some of the pages has been pushed to the production site. I haven't finished the "transfer" functionality yet, but will shortly (so we can move Cortez from Illinois, to PSU).
Hey Tim, make sure you renew your vows when Suriano is ready to commit. Again when Hall does. And yet again when Lee does. It's the least you can do.Hey guys, sorry I've been away this week. We've been on our honeymoon in Florida and I'm just now seeing this news. First of all, wow. This a big pickup that I certainly was not expecting. I'll reach out to Cortez once I get home and see if I can get an interview for everyone here.

LOL, either that, or we nominate Mrs. Tim Owens as PSU wrestling's #1 fan, and send Tim and her on a lot of mini-honeymoons in the coming years. El-Jefe lists most of the main targets, and if it only cost us a mini-honeymoon for the newlyweds 3 or more times to land those targets, I think many of us would gladly chip in.
Thanks for reminding me of that!
Here it is below, revised:
=======================================================================
2016: Nico, Conaway, Gulibon;MicicCortez sits
2017: Suriano,MicicCortez, Gulibon; Red shirts
2018: Suriano,MicicCortez, Red; Lee shirts
2019: Lee,MicicCortez, Red; Suriano shirts
2020: Lee, Suriano, Red
Note thatMicicCortez loses a year of eligibility if he transfers within the B10.
This works with any combination of 2 out of Suriano,PletcherKaram, and Red -- assuming Cael can work the financials out andMicic can go 133 for one yearSuriano can go 125 for 2 years.
So,if Micic does prove truewith Cortez confirmed, let's consider it Step 1 of the 2016 Plan for World Domination.
United currently has flights from PHL to Las Vegas for $80 RT. Just sayin' ...
We could probably also get Tim a few Elvises.Damn, Tim and the Mrs. no sooner get back from their honeymoon, and we have to send them on a mini-honeymoon. It's the least we can do after the Suriano news.
