this is also the game that Trace started to keep the ball off the RPO. up to then he really was running almost exclusively from the scramble. when he became a run threat, PSU became a different team offensively. even now when he stops running our RBs get teed off on by DEF. with our OL being reduced so much we need his run threat more than ever.

I was in a hotel in Madrid that night wondering how the game was going. I checked my phone around midnight (about 7 pm EST) and saw we were losing at halftime 13-3. My immediate reaction was "PSU football is in serious trouble."

Imagine my surprise when I woke up around 2 am and discovered we had won! I had an extra jug of sangria later that day.
