U20 World Team Trials & U23 Nationals - May 31-June 2

so ... 10 pages of U20/U23 posts over the weekend ... the only mention of G/R was in the first post schedule! Team USA needs to drop funding for G/R and push all that money to F/S!

U20 team is way better than u23. How and why does this happen. The kid at 57 kg didn’t even qualify to enter the u20 bracket.

Just looking through old results and saw that Connor Mirasola beat Justin Rademacher 5-0 at the US Open. Rademacher looked amazing this past weekend beating Cody Merrill and then Camden McDanel 2 straight in the finals. Mirasola has gotten so much better this last year. He keeps on this trajectory and he’s going to be scary good in college. I think he’s ready to go this coming year but I hope he redshirts. After a redshirt year I see him in the conversation to be a title contender. I know that’s a lot to say about a guy who hasn’t wrestled a college match yet but I just think he’s that good. Plus a win over Max Dean as a senior in high school doesn’t hurt

The reason I said on this board that Henkel might be the successor to Mirasola at 197 was that I think Mirasola won't need a redshirt year. Let Henkel greyshirt and redshirt and he'll get 3 years after Connor.
