just kidding, the game will probably end up a blowout, but the Illinois Fightin’ Lovie Smiths giving the “second best team in the BIG” all they can handle in the first half. If this replay is upheld correctly Illinois could be tied or leading at the half. Edit: they screwed Illinois and protected Wisconsin.

Too early for upset alerts but Illinois, Louisville, Purdue and South Carolina are all making the early games interesting.

I agree but apparently we are supposed to throw ourselves off a bridge when PSU “struggles” for a half. Wow. They just called a terrible flag against Illinois to negate a 74 yard TD.

OT: - West Virginia versus Oklahoma. One of the OU's female cheerleaders was injured when the Sooner Schooner flipped over during a TD run in the end zone. The schooner broke off of it's wheel carriage. This is the third year in a row that an accident has happened with the Schooner.

Illinois just went up 14-13 on a beautiful throw for a td before getting referined on a weak ineligible player downfield that had no bearing whatsoever on the play.

The call on the Coan fumble was worse. That was a fumble. Bad call on the field and job by the replay both to not reverse it.. Should be 14-10 Illinois right now.

Wait a minute! Are you trying to tell me that the Big Ten replay officials made a poor decision? It’s been at least, what, seven days since that’s happened? Although I didn’t watch much of the OSU-NW game last night, so I could be wrong...

Illinois would be leading if Peters wasn’t playing QB today.

He has no pocket awareness, won’t throw the ball to avoid a sack and just missed a gift TD

Sure seems that way. The real question now is whether this is simply Wisconsin looking ahead to Ohio State or is Wisconsin not quite as good as many thought.

It’s the latter...badgers are fools gold. Same as always - run their system extremely well, but limited talent makes for a mediocre team.

I think this game proves once gain that anyone can lose in any given week in college football. We just need to keep plugging along and going 1-0 every week. Who cares how we look.

To start the game Wiscy was a 97% favorite to win on the stupid ESPN probability matrix. Wiscy won time of possession two to one, so based on the Pitt probability matrix they won.

This game probably gave Lovie Smith the right to coach out the season. A lot more riding on this game for him than just beating a ranked opponent.

Wiscy also won 1st downs, rushing yds, passing yds, and total yds. But 3 turnovers did them in.

No way did I see that coming. Wisconsin won all the stats including dominating time of possession 41-19. But guess what? Wisconsin had 3 TURNOVERS!
Proves you need a better than mediocre QB to win in today’s game. A game manager only gets you so far, even with a superior OL and running attack.

Add it to the long, long, long list of things "you didn't see coming" (i.e., wrong). How hillarious your incessant "blah, blah, blah" about how PSU isn't that good and their record means nothing because they haven't beaten anyone.... 5-2 ASWP is no good and PSU should have blown them out... yada, yada, yad . But supposedly "Playoff Worthy" (which isn't a "playoff", it's an "invitational") Wisonsin can't even beat a 2-4 team on the road. You act like people are surprised when you're wrong, let alone other-worldly wrong,...LOL, not surprising at all, it's a rather common occurrence - especially when you talk about PSU and how good/bad they are relative to other b1g bushleague teams.

I think Coan is a very good QB. He completed 75% of his passes today for 264 yds. Just the untimely INT that led to ILL's game winning FG.

Wisconsin also lost 2 fumbles.

I never said that but I hope you enjoyed your rant.

Little harsh don’t ya think? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you!:D

Gee, I guess that shouldn't have fumbled 'em then, huh? Coan also gave up a critical INT on Wisconsin's final drive with only a couple minutes remaining, Wisconsin still winning 23-21 and trying to run the clock out / put game away. You act like Ill-Noise didn't earn these turnovers and it was just dumb-luck that worked against Wisconsin....which is laughable nonsense. Ill-Noise absolutely deserved to win this game and completely outplayed Wisconsin in 2nd Half after being down by a couple scores - they kept fighting and won. Definitely a deserved win by Ill-Noise who came into game 2-4.

That was a terrible INT. Gave ILL a chance to win. If they ran three times and punted they could have at least made ILL drive the length of the field to score. One thing for certain is that Wiscy is nowhere close to the best D in the country.

Wisky had given up 20 total points through 6 games; they gave up 24 today to "Illinois." The Buckeyes will curb stomp them next week through the air.

Correction: Wisky had given up 29 point through 6 games. All thumbs!

Certainly a terrible INT. Wisconsin's D did a good job shutting down Michigan's run game. It will be interesting to see how we compare tonight.

Any chance UGA gets upset again? They are playing unusually conservatively early in this game.

UGA lost a lot of key players from last year, particularly the WRs who had a part in making Fromm look good.

UK lost two of it's best players in school history. The rain might keep it low scoring, but the Dawgs find a way to win.

I said Georgia would find a way to pull away last week and we saw what happened or I have no clue this week. It almost feels like they don't trust Fromm.
