Done for the year with an undisclosed injury via Cael
It’ll be Kasak. I don’t think he’s really all that undersized either. Wrestled at 149 multiple times last year.So do we continue to wrestle an undersized Kasak or do we go with an undersized Evans?
Some guys are just snakebit. Look at Howard. This suuuuuckkkssss. And it’s fair to start to wonder if his body will hold up through a college career. Third major injury in about four years
Rumors are saying torn ACLWOW..this sucks for SVN..he looked so damn good in the early season. Wonder what the injury is? Feel horrible for him
There is a certain amount of irony to a standout 141 recruit being forced to wrestle up at 149 due to injury and because he is blocked from 141 by returning All-AmericanCael did mention Pierce and Evans as possible fill-ins too.
He also mentioned that Kasak had been focused on making 141 this year.
Haines sure suprised a few people in his TF year. Kasak is cut from the same cloth.I think Tyler is much better than he showed last Sunday. Hard to say he'll be someone who scores at NCAAs this year but could do a lot worse than him as your replacement.
Always fun to watch the young guys develop too, especially in a year where you'll likely be far out of range of any challengers.I think Tyler is much better than he showed last Sunday. Hard to say he'll be someone who scores at NCAAs this year but could do a lot worse than him as your replacement.
Get well soon Shane.Done for the year with an undisclosed injury via Cael
Yes indeed. Get healthy young man.Ugh. Feel awful for Shayne. At least he's getting it taken care of right away, so he'll have more recovery time toward next year.

Kasak is also a lot closer to beIng a true 149 pounder than EvansSad for Van Ness and his family. Hate it when any kid loses a chance to chase their dream, whether it's a PSU wrestler or not. Should be Evans or Kasak based on observations to date, though it's a time for others to shine too. Just an fyi, Evans and Kasak wrestled to what amounted to a draw at the Black Knight Invitational. No takedowns, Kasak winning 3-2 in TB-2 @ 141 lbs. Kasak has a RS, Evans does not. Though I recognize the upside for Kasak, most true freshmen could use a redshirt. All factors will be considered.
I think that is really the most important thing. At least in my world. Who is most prepared to be at that weight.Kasak is also a lot closer to beIng a true 149 pounder than Evans
