Maybe not Franklin ok probably not Franklin but I am concerned about some of our staff. Lots of jobs available now and probably a lot more opening up.
I would be worried about staff like Poindexter moving up to a DC there. Be a great fit.
I wonder how interested Pry is in becoming a HC? I mean some just like what they are doing...like Venables at Clemson. I"m pretty sure he's had his chances but maybe they weren't the right fit or geographic location.🤷♂️
Poindexter would be a possibility but what about Terry Smith? He's got a lot more tenure or even John Scott.
At the risk of incurring the wrath of the fire everyone crowd I hope the staff remains in tact.
LOL, that would be interesting. The one thing BOB hated doing here was recruiting. Whats the one thing that VT desperately needs...recruiting.
Oh and while he might not be following the same magnitude of a legend that Joe was he's still going to have to put up with Beemer Ball and well Windshield companies through out Blacksburg are rejoicing.
I know the guy is old as F&%K, and not because he was at Penn State, but if I am someone like VA Tech I look at Larry Johnson as the head of operations and let him hire a "coach in waiting" while he pulls Tech out of the gutter. May be the only coach in America that comes from the Joe, Guy that Coached Brady, Urban, and Day Coaching Tree. Has a ton of connections in the DMV. Probably has no interest but dang would that be a fit.
