Weight Certs are up on track

What was his recruiting class relative to Suriano? I remember going to a Wyoming Sem meet that had him and Nick both compete.
Suriano was #2 behind Mark Hall. Manville was in the bottom half of the top 10.

I meant year. Are they the same? And Nick has one left and Mason 2. Oly Red Shirt?
They're the same year -- 2016.

That class has had 2 champs (Hall, Suriano) and 4 more finalists (Dean, Hidlay, Mueller, Wentzel). 3 other #1 seeds (Marinelli, Pletcher, Deakin). A few Senior World Team members (Manville, Bey, Reenan at least). A few other big names (Wood, Red, Darmstadt, White, Geer, Young, etc.). And 2 guys in the NFL (Hokit, Odighizuwa).

It's funny. Cael identified/developed the two guys that had champ potential. IT's easy to say "no crap" now with Hall and Suriano, but people had high expectations for a number of other guys on that list including Marinelli, Pletcher, Wood, Deakin, etc.

I candidly had Max as the 197. Even undersized, he's shown he has a fantastic gas tank and is a great tournament wrestler. He's 2/2 for AA'ing.

That being said, we can't forget Michael literally was working on what seemed like a 6 week season. Then he tears up his knee against Amine. Still ends up AA'ing (albeit with a great draw, won't deny that)

What a 4D chess move it would be of Cael to recruit a National Finalist for the purpose of lighting a fire under the ass of one of his kids who he thinks has a higher ceiling amirite?
