What are the odds.....

I'd say a 10% chance. UM obviously has homefield and a huge talent advantage. However, Army has a good team, and I'm really hoping UM struggles with the triple option. They've had a lot of turnover in D, both in terms of players, and coaches. Go Army beat Michigan!

They should have beaten OU.
I really want Army to win, but it’s in my opinion two completely different situations. OU’s defense was so bad that Army kept the ball away from OU while eating up the clock, but they couldn’t score. UM’s defense sadly is sound enough to provide Hairballs “ new and improved, World beating, all knowing invincible and irresistible offense “ enough shots to put the game away. Does that satisfy you Wolvie wherever you are?

Maybe 10%. Being week 2, UM will have plenty of time to practice defending it in the preseason and game week. If you put this game later in the season with no bye week and the chances improve dramatically.

Based on the current line, the implied probability would be in the 10-12% range.

Which sounds about right to me.

Remember PSU had a lot of difficulty with Army in 2015, but that PSU team had nothing like the kind of speed and depth that Michigan has (or PSU has today).

I could see a 1 TD difference at halftime but in the 2nd half the UM offense will find ways to exploit slow Army D.
