It's been discussed before, Beard might have trouble with weight cut.
He gassed numerous times last year.
I have brought this up before but not taking in the dynamics of scholarships and funding it would be great to have a 220 option for college. It would eliminate team tie breaker with having odd number matches and create a weight in line with freestyle weight.
The days of the sloppy heavyweight is done. I just think having one weight that encompasses almost 90 pounds is unfair to a certain percentage of big guys.

I don't disagree with anything you said, but I believe Byers said that Beard wasn't medically cleared or something to that effect, so Covid protocol is far more likely than his struggling with a weight cut in my opinion.

JB said he was pretty sure we would be wrestling next weekend, but time and location were still up in the air.
To be more specific: Byers said we would be wrestling Wisconsin but not Michigan, and that nothing more than that was settled (including the possibility of another team).
He did say that time/location were up in the air, but IMO that's more about the specific facility in Madison -- maybe they move the dual to a different gym in order to get a 3rd team. Can't imagine Barry Alvarez making this a road trip without getting a home match back in return.
Perhaps the dual could be in Indiana vs Wisky next Sunday. Then Michigan State, who has a tri meet in Indiana on Saturday, could compete against us on Sunday in a make up match.
Late breaking news. The Wisconsin match will be live via zoom with each team participating from their respective rooms.
