What scares you?

yeah, that is a scary situation. I have family out in Southern California and those wildfires last fall were like 15 miles away....which sounds far but not really when you have those winds.

Though slightly TIC, raising a child in today’s world scares the holy chit outta me. I take comfort that previous generations of parents felt the same way and we keep surviving as a species, but damn it’s hard putting your kid out into a world full of millennials.

Scary as hell. Gotta wear sunglasses to look at that.

Vicky Triponey in a thong.
I was going to pick up the flag and post a puke worthy photo of someone in a thong but decided I didn't want to gross out the board. Besides, I didn't know if the photo should be of a woman or a man.

Heights (mainly on unsturdy things). Just watching kids step out on that all-glass platform at the top of the Willis tower made me pretty jittery.

yeah, heights are my other thing- if I was any taller, I'd be afraid to stand up

Frankenstein doesn’t scare me, marsupials do...because they’re fast (there’s a little Bob and Tom show for you).

I’m afraid of needles....I hate those things.

Ghosts. No I've never seen one but I've known a couple people who matter-of-factly told me they have. Just thinking about it creeps me out.

Nobody scares me, but this does:

What follows is from George Will's column in this morning's Washington Post. As he says, "pour a Scotch and read on."

"The Congressional Budget Office projects that new federal borrowing over the next ten years will total $12.4 trillion and that at the end of 2028 the debt will be $28.7 trillion, 96 percent of the GDP."

"The American Enterprise Institute's James Capretta says of last year's CBO projection that the federal debt would reach 150 percent of GDP by 2047."
