Who knew? (Italian Hand Gestures Explained.)

Not being of Italian ancestry, several of these hand gestures were entirely new to me. Are there others that they did not cover in this video?

French hand gestures are extremely close to these. In a lot of cases the French gesture mimics the French phrase.

English gestures exist but are considerably less pronounced.

I suppose this video is part comedy.

I read that the middle finger goes back to ancient Greece, then Rome. It's said it was brought to the US by Italian immigrants at the turn of the last century (the good one).
