My only hope is that all these people tweeting and lecturing others on their overwhelming love for women's and/or greco wrestling actually view/stay to watch women's and/or greco wrestling.

I'm sure our sport isn't free from fake philanthropy. Personally, I enjoy watching both, but I don't fault others for not wanting to watch it. "That's just like, your opinion, man." But if you're one of these internet activists, you better keep that same energy at trials, watching on streams, etc.

Had an older sister who played ball and I got dragged to all of her games. So my first feel experience with sports was on the female side.

Never going to happen and why should it? That's the last thing wrestling needs. Where would the girls trans scholarships come from? Probably split it with the boys. Might as well drop them to only 4.95. There's not much interest in women's mma and it is damn near just as good as the men. The WNBA plays in empty stadiums and makes no money. Just not happening. At least in the next 25 years. There just isn't enough high quality girl wrestlers, or female wrestlers in general, to even consider them anything other than club teams.
When it's hard to get people to watch men; they damn sure aren't going to watch women. Unless they want to go with the old adage of sex sells and I doubt they would want to do that.

Is it right? No but there's far greater needs in college sports than women's wrestling. Sorry

Completely Disagree. If the US women start winning numerous World and especially Olympic Medals.......Gold Medals........you will see a massive increase in interest of women's wrestling. It happened in Womens Soccer.......more people watched the women over the US Men. It will also happen in Women's Wrestling. Just Win

I think our women are making huge improvements, didnt we have 3 WC in 19?

I completely agree. The women's team is getting better every year. You and I know that. But.......the women's World Championships are not on any national TV. Winning Olympic Golds in prime time will do for women's wrestling what it did for women's soccer. That was my point

for the past couple years the finals and 3rd place matches for all of women's FS, men's FS, and men's GR were on the olympic channel. i don't recall whether there were any replays on NBCSN but i would be shocked if they had showed american men winning gold without showing women as well.

I have been watching women's wrestling for more than 30 years. They are just as enteraining as the men. Granted, I have to admit most of the time mud was involved.

Kennedy Blades is a stud. She's the best wrestler on the best girl's team in the country. She works out with one of the best wrestlers in US history. If you have no interest in watching a wrestler like that, then maybe you should reassess your role in what our sport needs to do and promote to survive....

I just like to tune in and watch wrestling. Maybe at one time I had time to stop and think about my role in promoting the sport, but with 3 kids I just want to watch wrestling. I’ll watch the match if it’s on. But I’ve never heard of either until 5 minutes ago, just like half the boys bouts.
