1. He is not a walk on. He was a scholarship QB.
2. If you can't tell the difference between a "back up" making his 4th start of the season and one coming off the bench you are just dumb.
3. Where were you when the "back up" lost to Arkansas and Mississippi State?
This was his fourth start of the season. They also lost the previous two games with this "back up" qb,

I think the confusion here is over Calzada getting hurt on the TD throw that tied the game.
Calzada and Haynes King were the primary QBs. King was the starter until he got hurt on the second possession vs Colorado.
Fast forward back to Saturday night. Calzada got his leg rolled back on just as he threw a TD. He was on the field for a couple minutes. The camera pans to a guy warming up.
The third string QB is a walk on. The backup to Calzada.
Things were so bizarre, the cameras followed Calzada being carried to the tent and missed the extra point live. Jimbo even walked in the tent and they had to replay the kick.
Apparently it was not serious. After the defense held, Calzada came out and got them in FG range.

That was bizarre…Nessler had to be like, “oh by the way…the extra point was good.”
Even worse, ND benched Coan, inserted true frosh who scored once then stunk it up for 2 qtrs with several ints including pick 6. They insert Coan and he leads them to win at VT late with TD and 2 pt conversion then FG at end. Why? Kyren Williams in damn good RB and kept them alive. Same with UMs Corum at UN. He has explosive ability. We have slow plodders and poor run blocking along with Ill prepared backup

Hey Chump, during the game the backup to the QB that was playing was announced by the TV crew as being a Walk on. The walk on may have been 3rd team to start the season, but last night he was the backup.
