In the 4th Q alone (and the "efforting" has been going on all game):

BC misses a chippy FG
MD has the ball at midfield and gets stuffed on 4-1
BC in position to work the clock with the lead.....intercepted!
MD has 1st and goal from BC 2 yard line......holding penalty, then ANOTHER holding penalty
The 2nd MD holding penalty is on a failed 3rd from.....rather than decline and force MD to kick a FG, BC accepts the penalty, giving MD another chance - - - and BC commits a personal foul penalty giving MD a first down
After getting 1st and Goal on the 1......MD fumbles
Under 4 minutes to go.....BC just needs to run clock - - - but fumbles
1st and goal from the 5 - - - MD can't get in, and kicks the chippy FG - - - leaving them down 6 w 3 minutes left
MD doesn't go onside kick - instead "pooches" KO to 25 yard line


All in the 4th Q alone

I was just laughing a little and shaking my head thinking that neither team can figure out how to lose this thing in a more inglorious manner than the other team.

Which means I need to reassess my life - because I was just thinking the exact same thing... AS YOU! Ermergerd!
