What is psu bar in rehoboth beach/dewey? Thx

Oh god, the Starboard. Had a beach house share in Rehoboth just past the lake for about 6 years in my 20s. The Starboard was a madhouse. Good times
Had lunch there in early Summer and have had many former students work there. It is safe to say it has grown tremendously since I lived down there my Jr. Summer in the late 80s. Then it was an "old person bar." Now it is full all day for dining and all night for drinking.

Back from summer vacation

Lando's purpose here is to make rooting for PSU seem so unattractive, that you want to root against them. No one wants to be associated with his obnoxious foolishness. He's attempting to destroy from within with his stupidity.
Lando vs Purpose Pitch. It’s like Mothra vs Godzilla. Only they’re much, much smaller. And not scary at all.

That doesn't take away from the fact he is a great coach.

Lamar needs to win a Super Bowl to even get remotely close to being considered the best QB in the league. Last year's choke job hurt him. A repeat collapse in the playoffs will brand him a choker and probably will get in his head long term.
Anyone who has played football knows it is the ultimate team sport. Ask Dan Marino. As a Ravens fan I understand the criticism but I like Lamar. This should be another fun season.

Not good news for Sean Clifford

I don't think Clifford is anyone's answer to be a solution as a starter but I think he could be a very good backup.

Steelers have their 3 QBs for this year even if I don't like the trio
Dude was Brought in last playoffs against Dallas and couldn't get the team a first down, after 2 series, they had to put Love back in..

I loved Clifford and what he did here, but we over hype our guys so much. He was a good story, but is probably a 3rd stringer/Practice squad at best at this point.

Lamar was the best quarterback in the league for the 2023 season. That is all I said. That is what the MVP voters said. And now that is what the players said. I just think it’s interesting to see Steelers fans unable to acknowledge the obvious, what with the evidence practically smacking them on the forehead. Human nature is a funny thing.
I'm a Bears fan (ugh) and from the Chicago area and a Northwestern grad so I think I have an open mind on this one. JMO.

1, Mahomes
2. Burrow (if he can avoid injury - a big if)
3. Jackson

Jackson probably has the best physical talent but just makes mistakes and flops in critical situations

Heard on Sports radio in Dayton area today (re: Michigan)

One of the most ridiculous things about this whole affair is how scUM and their media shills (especially the scumbag ridden E-SPiN) have routinely labeled the scandal as "Sign Stealing", which is not an NCAA Violation (the shills and scumbag apologists have labeled it as such in an attempt to minimize the violations knowing that "Sign Stealing" is not against NCAA Rules). The Rulebook Violation that scUM wantonly trampled and did so for the better part of a decade (Stalions was first brought on in 2015 as a Volunteer Coach to implement this scheme that he had marketed to Harbaugh according to his own "manifesto" to bring scUM back to greatness that he published on his personal pages before Harbaugh brought him on) was ILLEGAL SCOUTING ACTIVITIES OF FUTURE OPPONENTS - illegal activities which are delineated in the NCAA's Rules of Competition and scUM/Stalions knew what he was doing was illegal as evidenced by him disguising himself at the CMU/MSU game. Beyond the cheating violation, scUM violated every ethical code within the NCAA Rulebook (Level I Violations in-and-of themselves). Harbaugh and scUM are guilty of "Lack of Institutional Control" - a Level I Major Infraction - even if they want to continue to perpetuate their lame, silly and irrelevant excuse that Harbaugh "didn't know" (the Rulebook specifically states that Harbaugh/scUM are responsible for vetting assistants work product - including recruiting - at the institutional level and Harbaugh/scUM invoking the three monkey "Hear, See and Speak No Evil Defense" (i.e., ignorance) is not a defense whatsoever and does not mitigate accountability under Rulebook Violation Sanctions.). NCAA Football is not the only sport which prohibits such Illegal Scouting Activities of future opponents - virtually all sports ban these activities and label them UNETHICAL; this IN FACT is what FIFA severely sanctioned the Canadian Women's Soccer Team/Program for during this past summer's Olympic Games.

Utterly ridiculous how the parties at the very top of scUM, and their media shills, have attempted to mislabel, deflect the significance of and refuse to accept responsibility for blatant and wanton cheating (i.e., trampling of the Sport's Competitive Codes to gain illegal competitive-advantage) - not just refusing to accept responsibility, but obfuscating to attempt to hinder the NCAA - a Collegial Organization they are a Member of and agree not to act in this Unethical manner. It's disgraceful that the leaders of an Institution of Higher Education would act, and behave, in such a disgraceful and unethical manner. Just disgusting - this is what they are teaching their students is acceptable behavior! Disgraceful.
Was the CMU game the only game that Stallions was actually at a game scouting or was Stallions personally at other games as well? Has he been going to games and scouting since 2015?

2 weeks from tomorrow. We find out?

Let's pretend he has a decent day--how does that prove me wrong? It's a long season--almost every QB will have some good days and bad days. We'll see the issues everyone says exist with Greene--he'll struggle to go through his reads, he'll be inaccurate and he'll look to run before he should. He'll live and die on 50/50 balls.
24-30, 3 TD passes 300yds and he beats us. Oh that stings but would be funny laughing at you. Yes, I know it means nothing but then he goes on to have an excellent season. Dohhh!

Andy Reid scraped my bark from the time he won Punt, Pass and Kick as a 13 year old. He was exactly the same size as he is today (minus several hundred pounds.) I guess he’s a successful coach but I don’t care for him. You can look it up. I think it’s still on YouTube.

House v. NCAA NIL settlement

I got confused by the title of this board. Football ...
Not NCAA politics board, congressional over site board, my cousin that played jr high football and his wife had a baby board. Richie, could you change the board name to be the everything including football board. I won't get so confused that way.
Well, this is the wrestling forum and we mostly talk about bike racing. it's easy to get confused.

Gable Steveson saga

Since the mods moved this discussion here from the NLWC thread, just going on record thinking this is interesting for the NLWC. I'm rollin' w/ Greg, for sure, but I feel like we have an RTC arms race heating up, and there aren't too many Oly Gold Medalists on the market. Will be interesting to see what happens, and what Gable decides to do next.

Mahomes is a great QB too, but don’t underestimate Andy Reid’s coaching ability. Hall of Fame QB and head coach on that team.
