No comments on Drew cussing out a fan?

Some idiot gives him shit about being injured and he's supposed to remain cool about it? EFF that! I was thrilled to see him as fired up as he got. I hope that fire keeps burning in him until mid-January!
The taunter could be a Medal of Honor winner or it could be Mother Teresa. Someone makes fun of me after I just got injured is going to be told to **** themselves.

Football Latest on QB Drew Allar's injury status for Saturday's game

My "reading between the lines" take:

1. Allar is going to try, but I don't think he will play.
2. Prepping your 3rd QB sounds all nice and lovely, but if Allar can't play, Grunk is the new backup.
3. Beau's style is a lot of running. All QBs are one hit from being out.
I was screaming at him whole second half. He never took the slide and just bulled into guys. “You are already the backup…..don’t get hurt!”

Allar Game time Decision

Predictable and strategic
I still don't see how he'd be 100% which means it has to be Beau
I disagree with this slightly. If Allar’s health is progressing daily, is 70-80% Allar a better option than BP? I would argue yes. I know, as a fellow Pennsylvanian, that the story of having a PA kid come in to win aOSU game would bring joy to my heart. But realistically Allar is the best option even if still feeling the effects of the injury. It’s easy to get McSorley vibes but if we’re talking best chance, unless he is still one legged, it’s gotta be Allar.

I actually believe that a qb who poses a true running threat is the best choice against OSU like Gabriel for Oregon, who was able to run for a td against them.
I don't think a running threat isn't needed by any stretch but if Allar's not able to move in the pocket or take off in certain circumstances it's detrimental
I still think, not just you, way too many people just love the dual threat guys and dislike pocket passers.
The best choice against OSU is your best QB--that's Allar.

I was surprised this play wasn't reviewed.

On the replay he might not have had control of the ball in time but it was close. I think the toe-only is OK because he's going out of bounds facing front. Was a great play by Reed.
I agree--I don't think he had complete control watching it many, many times but it should have been stopped to take a look at it

Ohio State's fortunes ride on the O line. I am not optimistic.

Nope, I rewound it and "freeze-framed" all the motions as he's going OB while watching the broadcast - I immediately commented in the game-thread when it happened. He does bobble the ball but that is prior to his last touch as he's going OB. He controls the ball continuously from the touch showed in the OP's link through, and after, going OB. Again, it is continuous control from this touch and his foot is down when he initiates control (i.e., the touch shown on link). Somebody on the game-thread tried to erroneously claim that his left foot hits OB prior to his right dragging foot - this is also proven untrue (which I responded was untrue in game-thread) by the linked picture. Left foot clearly remains in air while right foot is dragging in-bounds. His toe absolutely counts as "one foot" as he drags it and only the portion of the "first foot landing" that touches the ground must be in-bounds and the Rulebook specifies that a "toe drag" beyond initial spot it lands counts as "a subsequent step".
