Rumor: Home duals to be held at BJC beginning 2025-26

Do you think they'd use the whole BJC seating for all matches or for smaller crowds curtain off the ends and slide the end bleachers up close to the mat? Season tickets would be what's left of the lower bowl and end bleachers
If the waiting list is really 7000 deep, as was said earlier in this thread, there won't be any curtains.

There is literally 0 reason for new facilities at this point especially with team rosters getting cut to 30. Renovations are good but absolutely no need to build standalone ones when we're looking to add 20.1 scholarships a year and in the age of NIL. The ROI on facilities are almost nonexistent. The inevitable 30M price of facilities can literally endow all those scholarships.

DT even said he prefers if Oklahoma State doesn't spend money there.

I don't think the Targetting call was bad at all - under the ACTUAL rule (not what individuals "think it should be"), the receiver is a protected "Defenseless Player" and the rule only requires that first initiated contact is delivered to the head-or-neck area (doesn't have to be with crown of helmet - just with whatever body part "first contact" is initiated with). Complete nonsense that the defender did not initiate contact with his shoulder directly into the facemask of the receiver - he absolutely did. To claim that first contact was not forcible is beyond laughable - the receiver's head goes straight back and bounces of ground. Under the ACTUAL NCAA Rule, that is unquestionably Targetting on a player in a "defenseless position".
Wasn’t too bad of a hit, but it meet the criteria for targeting

Anyone else in Madison?

Four of us came in from Philly last night. Staying downtown- jogged over to stadium 2 miles away — friendly security guys- no tailgating at 8am. Stadium seems smack next to an Engineering building- campus is nice. Everyone friendly as I had Penn State stuff on.
We didn’t sign up for the alumni Roar Tour. Any bars to check out this afternoon? Wonder where team is staying? Mostly watching other games and bars till game time.
Just start walking. Bars are everywhere in Madison.

Was hoping for a better Illinois/Oregon game, but Oregon simply has the most sophisticated offense I've ever seen. They leave no room for a defense to miss an assignment or a tackle.

Clearly this is a team that added to their offensive package as the season has progressed. I remember a time when PSU would do that as a matter of course. We may be returning to that this year with Coach AK. Time will tell.
Yes, they are beating down Illinois. Oregon looks like a championship finalist to me at this point in the season. Total package.

Washington is simply awful when they have to come east to play.

It's bitching which I why I'm forced to repeated myself so hopefully you and other learn that we don't have a sufficient sample size and we're trying to reach conclusions based on 4 awful teams and one that is still underachieving with Riley. Or was travel the problem for USC last year?

It's not bitching. In fact, now you are bitching. No one is "forcing" you to repeat yourself over and over again. You are electing to because you cannot cope with others disagreeing with your nonsensical positions.

Washington is simply awful when they have to come east to play.

So that's a "yes." Repeating yourself over and over again is going to make you correct. LOL...

An observation regarding the difficulties of traveling is not bitching. Grow up. "Act like a man."

I'm not afraid of competition. That's completely separate from wanting OSU to be 0-12, and loving every minute of it if it happens. Bring on Oregon. Indiana. Even Georgia.

It has nothing to do with still viewing PSU as an Independent. It SUCKED when PSU was an Independent. I don't hate the Big Ten.

Why are you wrong about EVERYTING? Occasionally you could luck into being correct about something. It's almost like you know the right answer, but purposefully guess the wrong one.

And stop being a coward.
I'm not. You're lying.
Bring on Indiana lol
Your bias is clear

Do you think bitching about the travel is going to make it true?
Data has to be analyzed over time. So far nothing indicates there's a problem. Just those that want regional conferences.

What MLB/NFL/CFB stadiums have you been to that no longer exist?

I have been to 29 of the 30 major league stadiums - the exception being Oakland. I plan to see the As next year in Sacramento.

Stadiums that no longer exist:
Connie Mack
Veterans
Shea
Yankee Stadium
Three Rivers
Busch
Turner
Georgia Dome
Baltimore Memorial
Spectrum
Gerry Park (Expos)
Toronto (the old football stadium)
Adding:
Maple Leaf Gardens
Montreal Forum - Funny story about my visit there. It was in 1974. I bought a single seat and sat next to bunch of season ticket holders. When they noticed that I was an American and cheering for the Canadians, they bought me a beer. "Un bot pour mon neuvae ami". At the first intermission they asked where I was from. Figuring they never heard of Allentown, I replied, "Philadelphia". When they started cursing me (in French), I said, "But I hate the Flyers". Drank free beer the whole match.
