Recruiting other team's commits

Maybe, but if you're Taylor, why not go after both? Vega is already at 138, so maybe he could go 149. Or maybe he thinks Blaze could stay at 133. OKST could use long-term help at 2 of the 3 weights (with RSFR Cael Hughes being at the other of 141 or 149).
Heck, Blaze is only a year removed from being recruited to be Okie State's 125 pounder. So 133 should be easy as pie in Stillwater.

OSU’s left tackle

Maybe it's time for Larry to pull the plug and retire.
When the NCAA changed the rule this year and removed the limit on the number of coaches the hope had been that OSU would hire an "heir apparent" to LJ and he would retire at the end of this season. Their has been a well known case of him and Jim Knowles butting heads ever since Knowles was hired and it's caused Knowles to to not be able to run his full scheme. The scuttlebutt is that there was a "come to Jesus" meeting the day after the Oregon game and changes will happen.
Everyone knows what LJ has accomplished in his career both at PSU and OSU. Giving him the benefit of the doubt for a year was not an issue and deserved, but development and recruiting on the D line has been an issue for several years now. While Bosas and Chase Youngs don't grow on trees, seeing guys like JT and Jack Sawyer not reach their potential is a problem. It seems the game may have passed him by. Love the guy, but it seems it's time to move in another direction.

Best PSU Team

Graduated in 86, knew most/many of the defensive players, some pretty well. So I am biased toward the 86 team.

1994 Team would beat the 86 team 9 times out of 10. If Miami was even paying attention, they could have run the ball on us, limited turnovers and won the game. The 86 team would struggle with the amount of weapons that 1994 team had, and a coach that would take the run if it was there, instead of throwing into crazy zone defenses.

The 86 offense was tough, Dozier was very good, OL good......without a real weapon at WR and a game manager at QB.

Love 86.......no way they compete with 1994. 35 - 13 1994 over 1986 in Tempe.
Exactly. Was sure that Miami would pull
the game out by running Highsmith on 1st and goal from inside the 5. He gashed us repeatedly on the ground on the last Miami possession. Fortunately Testaverde convinced Johnson to pass and got sacked for big loss on 1st down. Like I said ‘86 team was my favorite but ‘94 was one of the best college teams in college football history.
