Trib High School Player of the week - Kemon Spell

Trib HSSN football player of the week – Kemon Spell

School: McKeesport

Class: Sophomore

Height/Weight: 5-foot-9, 185 pounds

Position: Running back, cornerback

#Earned: When Mars and McKeesport met in Week 7 for first place in the Class 4A Great Allegheny Conference last month, the Tigers defeated the Fightin’ Planets, 28-7. So with Mars brewing up a dish of revenge and jumping out to an early lead, McKeesport turned to witchcraft and cast a fatal Spell on the Planets. After falling behind, the Tigers scored 35 unanswered points with most of the damage done by sophomore running back Kemon Spell, who carried the ball 15 times for 281 yards and scored three long touchdowns on runs of 55, 36 and 56 yards. In two playoffs wins over Belle Vernon and Mars, Spell has carried the ball 41 times for 558 yards and five TDs.

What coach says: “He has been great all year, but (on Friday), he was able to run through tackles and then make the long run from there,” McKeesport coach Matt Miller said. “I thought he also played an outstanding game at cornerback.”

“He has definitely gotten better each and every week. He had a small injury that kept him out of camp, and it seemed to slow him down early in the year, but as of late, he has been amazing.”

“He has embraced the role as a major contributor to our offense this season and has become more vocal and a leader by his hard work.”

“His youth is so exciting for me, because he is only going to get better over the next couple of years. He has great vision, power and breakaway speed. He is also humble and a true team player, and he will be a great example for younger players coming up through our program.”

Background: McKeesport has a long list of successful running backs over the decades that have enjoyed great scholastic careers running out of the old George Smith flex-bone offense. As a freshman last fall, Kemon Spell finished third on the team in rushing behind Anthony Boyd and Keith Spell with 517 yards and 12 touchdowns. He has moved into the top 10 in rushing in the WPIAL this season with 1,617 yards and in scoring with 24 touchdowns. Even though he’s only a sophomore, Spell has already committed to Penn State. He said he had always wanted to play there, and when they offered earlier this season, he jumped at it. Spell played baseball and basketball through middle school but does plan of joining the McKeesport track team for the first time this spring. As a lifetime McKeesport resident, Spell grew up emulating former Tigers running back and safety Khaleke Hudson, who played his college ball at Michigan and in the pros with Washington and now Cleveland.

Trump inflation solution won't work

Trump has said numerous times his solution for lowering inflation is 'drill baby drill'. Problems for that solution start with the fact the US is already drilling/producing more oi; than ever. Add to that the fact a number of oil execs have said they have no plans of increasing production (world oil supplies are high and demand is slowing). Oil refining capacity (US) is not goingto increase so there is a choke point there.

Maybe he economics expert DJT needs to have a backup plan. Tariffs would also be inflationary. What's a president elect to do?

Carson Beck (yikes)

"It's not about how I play but how we play," Beck said. "Our identity is to run the ball. We just weren't able to do that tonight. Maybe whenever that happens, I have to step up, and we have to make some explosive plays in the passing game. Or maybe I got to start making some plays on the ground. Someone has to step up and make a play whenever we're not able to run the ball comfortably."

Not only is he trying to kill his draft stock on the field but decided to do so when speaking with the media as well. That's not leadership.

George Orwell Was Mostly Correct

In his 1948 book "1984" he describes a dystopian world of the future. I would argue that we have arrived at such a world, perhaps, but maybe Big Brother is actually us. We the people are now--thanks to technology--able to watch our government leaders more than they can monitor us. The internet, chat rooms, podcasts and mostly uncensored social media that we take for granted is clearly a game-changer.

I think this explains why the good guys won the 2024 election. At least 51% of us were able to see through the state-crafted narrative of Twice-impeached, Convicted Felon Hitler 2.0 vs the First Woman of Color for the Presidency.

We simply elected the better candidate and policies. No wonder they are freaking out on the left.

melania and jill catfight

Melania NOT attending the meeting of Biden's and Trumps this week. Of course, Melania lived in the white house so doesn't need the "tour". But there seems to be more than that at play here....at least according to this post:

'A source close to Melania pointed to FBI agents searching through her personal items during the classified documents probe—an investigation that was later dismissed by Judge Aileen Cannon in July.'

Lefty Death Count Is At 5

So far we have four murdered, and a suicide by derange lefties falling the election. There have been threats of violence against conservatives, threats of poisoning, assassination threats against the president and Trump supporters, and so and so on.

When will you piece of crap lefties realize that you’re the bad people? That you are the deranged people? You are the stupid people?

You’re as bad as anyone out there claims .
