Currently Texas and OKie State have 10 minutes remaining in the 3rd qtr on ABC. No way that game is over by start time for PSU vs Minny. Not sure they will cut that game which has Big 12 lead implications to give us in Midwest and East the PSU game. Would the PSU game be on an alternate station?

This was never gonna be the year we competed for a championship. However, we had a nice start to the season and some of us fans got excited. It was an utterly dismal performance today. Without a doubt.

That said, I’d still rather be a fan who gets excited when his team has a good start to the season, than a negative, miserable, unhappy “fan” who just lives their life waiting for and expecting the other shoe to drop.

I really have pity for these so-called, “fans”, who, if PSU won every game by a score of 28-3, they’d bitch about PSU not being able to score 30 or shut out their opponents.

What a sad, pathetic existence.

There ya have it...exactly what many of us were afraid of when CJF announced that Clifford was back.

We can debate Michigan...and Franklin...and Clifford...until the cows come home, but hopefully the team has got its head back on straight and is focusing on Minnesota because that's shaping up to be a pretty huge game. The fact is, this season is salvageable. As things stand, we'll be favored in every game except Ohio State. This is not the time to lose poise and do the familiar swoon after a loss.

The Gophers have a decent defense, but their offense has recently looked mediocre. In fact, after losses to Purdue and Illinois, their emotional state can't be much better than ours at this point.

They do have an excellent back (Mo Ibrahim) and a fairly good O-line, but after the shots their QB, Tanner Morgan, took against Illinois before leaving the game late with an injury, I have a hard time seeing how he'll be ready this Saturday. Naturally, their coach is playing it coy and suggesting he could be OK to play. We'll see.

The receivers aren't great, and their passing attack has struggled in the losses, so their plan on offense is no great secret: the power game a la Michigan with Ibrahim carrying the load. Shut that down, and you shut down their offense.

Minnesota seems to be a fashionable betting pick, but I'm not buying it. I think we show up with something to prove and score a solid win in the whiteout. Then again, I thought we'd beat Michigan, so there's that.

Regarding parking tomorrow....if someone wants to drive up and park near the stadium without a parking pass...is the best bet parking in the East Deck?
Any other suggestions would help too. I am just trying to assist a friend who is driving up to tailgate.

I like coach Franklin, but if I was AD and he ever insinuated he was looking at othrr schools for more money I would fire him in a heartbeat, have guards sent at his desk, march him out the door and tell him we would forward this thanks. Good riddance to GREED. He has a serious character flaw of feeling no need to earn the his salary thru EXCELLENT RESULTS.

I think WWE refs are of higher caliber. While Jacobs committed to a bad angle, the OL literally sticks his arm and grabs by jersey. It can't be more clear. I just can't stand this league. It is purposeful.
