Here's a shocker: the military's integration of women into infantry units hasn't worked

I mean, whoever would have predicted that...other than anybody with an ounce of common sense and even a minimal level of life experience. Of course this leaves the Woke ideologues out, but unfortunately they've been the ones setting policy while our worthless bureaucrat Generals roll over for the sake of advancing their careers and ensuring nice jobs with defense contractors after retirement. I'm sure Pete Hegseth of all people knows the score but whether he wants to touch this particular toxic hot potato is another question.

Anyway, today Rod Dreher published a letter he received from a guy he knows who serves in the military and says that although he entered the service holding basically liberal views on most issues, his time in uniform has moved him significantly to the right as he observed the damage that insane Dem-Media values have done.

Rod edited the letter to ensure its author's anonymity but one of the things the writer zeroes in on is the complete failure of the military's unisex ideology, which has been foisted on it only within the last 10 years or so.

Some excerpts:
>>Much of what I have to say here will be pretty familiar. A lot of it has simply been unsayable for the last decade or so, but that does not change the fact that it is true. Full gender integration only works if you accept the claim that men and women are completely interchangeable and that there are no fundamental differences between the sexes...

(Women) get injured at much higher rates and are in an impossible situation because they do not want to draw attention to themselves but simply can't keep up...The cost of gender integration is not worth any benefit, and any benefit is entirely ideological...

Mothers and fathers are not interchangeable. When we are on deployment or doing lengthy exercises, family and relationship issues back home are the single greatest drag on morale and focus. It's hard enough for guys, but it's close to impossible for mothers with young children...

This brave new world of co-ed infantry units mandates dishonesty because we can't say what is obviously true: it doesn't work. The military has funded quite a bit of research into this and every time the data come back to show that all-male infantry units are more effective and score better on every metric...

This might be the most obvious unsayable thing. Young men need challenging male environments to form them as strong, healthy men. There need to be spheres of life where women drill instructors are not yelling at young men to shape and form them. A great many young men join the Marine Corps, for example, to find the one place left in society where they won't have to deal with that stuff...<<

In reviewing regional PSU targets from PA, MD, VA, and NJ in the Rivals NEW top 250, we’ve already landed:

#22 OL Brown
#143 RB Mickens
#220 S Sieg

I have to think we we have shots ranging from “in contention” to “favorite” for the following players:

#5 OL Iheanacho (MD)
#23 Edge Elee (MD commit)
#35 OL Gray (VA)
#37 RB Hiter (VA)
#83 DE Wafle (NJ) (s/b fav)
#175 OL Scruggs VA)
203 WR Carter (VA)
#216 LB Abrams (MD)
#228 WR Salmin (MD)
#240 DT Simeon (NJ)

Hopefully we can load up. on a lot of top 100/250 guys this year and be very selective early on about who get commitable offers.

Any other TOP guys the board sees us being in good shape with??? Any OHIO prospects we can snatch away from OSU? (Possibly #250 S Gebhardt?)(Note that The state of Ohio has as many top 250 players as PA, MD, and NJ COMBINED).

Trump's obsessed enemies sowed the wind...and now they're reaping the whirlwind

They threw everything at him. Investigations, raids, indictments, prosecutions, endless spasms of fanatical attacks...who knows, maybe even an attempted assassination. I mean, seriously, the failures of the Secret Service to protect the man at his Pennsylvania appearance that day were so crazily blatant as to be hard to explain by mere incompetence.

But nothing worked. So here he is in the Oval Office and he rightly remembers all of it. He knows that he's got nothing to lose because it's impossible to appease his hate-possessed opponents.

I think that's what driving him. It's why he's thrown caution to the curb and said screw it. In fact, with regard to Ukraine, he said screw it again this afternoon in a press conference: >>(Ukraine) has been blown to smithereens...the country looks like a massive demolition site...I don't want all these people killed anymore...Ukrainian and Russian people.<<

You want to hurt the Regime, Mr. President? No better way than with its pet war in Ukraine. There's not a Dem-Media judge who can touch you there.

Meanwhile, separately, Kash Patel won a procedural vote in the Senate today. Final confirmation is looking good and shaping up for Thursday. The Regime and Dem-Media are in a panic about Kash after making the FBI their own little Stasi for the last four years. Too bad. Payback is a bitch...or so they say...

RIP Marianne Faithful, age 78

Faithful was a legendary and colorful child of the 60's who had a hand in the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd success (among many others). She was a writer, singer and actress who excelled in all three. Unfortunately, she was a long time drug addict who made a ton of very poor life choices. She is famous for being arrested during a drug raid where she was naked wrapped in a fur rug as she was hauled off to jail. This raid was at Keith Richards' home in England. For example, she had contributions to As Tears Go By (she was 16 when she wrote it), Come Stay with Me, Sympathy for the Devil, Yellow Submarine and Sister Morphine.

Trump celebrates Black History Month with Tiger Woods in DEI order aftermath

And the left complains that Tiger is only HALF black..... lol... I'm surprise the left hasn't gone "uncle Tom" yet... lol....

President Donald Trump commemorated Black History Month at the White House alongside golfer Tiger Woods weeks after signing an executive order ending diversity programs and the Defense Department declaring that “identity months” are “dead.”

“Today we pay tribute to the generations of black legends, champions, and warriors that made sure to help drive our country forward to greatness,” Trump told the crowd on Thursday. “You really are great.”

Trump criticized former President Joe Biden‘s approach to race, contending that he concentrated too much on slavery rather than freedom.

“The last administration tried to reduce all of American history to a single year, 1619, but under our administration, we honor the indispensable role black Americans have always played in the immortal cause of another date, 1776,” he said.

Trump was welcomed with shouts of “We love you” as he walked into the East Room two hours behind schedule.
Woods, who was wearing the Presidential Medal of Freedom that Trump awarded him in 2019, initially declined his invitation to address the audience before saying it was “a great honor” to be at the White House.

“Tiger Woods, he’s an incredible guy and an incredible athlete, incredible player,” Trump said.
