2025 Resolution: I Won't Be Fooled by Democrats' Lies

Because that's what democrats do.....

https://www.usatoday.com/story/opin...mocrats-lie-inflation-trump-2024/77235005007/

It's that time of the year, so I'll jump on the bandwagon for end-of-year-lists.

Person of the year? Donald Trump. Surprise of the year? The presidential election. Idea of the year? Conservatism.

Worst party of the year? The Democratic Party.

And it's not particularly close.

I can't welcome 2025 without remembering just how much Democratic leaders repeatedly lied, without remorse, to the American people in 2024.

Democrats chose to manipulate Americans with a specific type of deceit: Make voters doubt reality. From inflation to President Joe Biden's health and Vice President Kamala Harris' competence as a presidential candidate, Democrats tried to lie their way to the White House.

They failed, but that doesn't mean we've forgotten.

What is PSU doing with their NIL and Revenue?

I'm at the point of thinking they are mismanaging their nil and revenue.

We are striking out to much with the portal when we were supposed to be building the nil war chest specifically for the portal?

Penn St prior to Revenue Sharing used much of their nil for rostsr retention.

Now the football program has about $18mil in revenue and reports are their nil is $13mil.

So...$18 + 13 =$31 mil

Even if thats a hugh number will say $27 mil total to build a roster.

Cant they use like $20mil for retention and $7mil for recruiting and the portal?

$7 mil is enough to compete with anyone for about 4-5 top targets outside of a Bryce Underwood.

BIDEN/AWARDS TO CHENEY&JOHNSON

On Biden's hefty schedule today, he will award Liz Cheney and Bennie Thompson the PRESIDENTIAL CITIZENS' MEDALS for leading the J6 Committee that probed the Jan 6, 2021, protest at the Capitol. Johnson the man of immense Einstein like intellect claimed (seriously) during a House Committee Hearing in 2010 that GUAM would tip over if the military assigned 8,000 soldiers from Okinawa to Guam, as the Island of Guam was too tiny to handle the additional population!!!!
Of course, the J6 Committee was packed with Democrats and several rhinos including Liz Cheney, who has been accused of witness tampering. Good likelihood that Patel will thoroughly investigate Cheney and most likely we haven't heard the end of this issue. Another effort of Biden to save Democracy since he was an abject failure.

Dean Phillips Was Right About Joe Biden. He Finds It ‘Awfully Unsatisfying.’

A lot of people were right about Biden. A lot of people were wrong about Biden. Those are the ones who no longer post here because of embarrassment.

Democrats simply cannot govern.

Dean Phillips has some regrets. Not about his decision to launch a quixotic primary challenge to President Joe Biden. He stands by that move, which alienated him from his party even as it proved prescient after Biden’s disastrous debate with Donald Trump.

But in an exit interview with POLITICO Magazine, the retiring Minnesota Democrat said he wished he had been more successful at fixing what he says is a deeply broken Congress and that he could have delivered more for his constituents. And he made clear he was leaving Capitol Hill extraordinarily frustrated with his party.

“We are totally devoid of leadership. We are rudderless,” he said.

Another Democrat Flees Her Party for the Right Side

lol.. another one bites the dust. Soon, the only ones left will be extremists.

As a “proud” Jewish woman, Florida Rep. Hillary Cassel expressed concerns over the Democratic Party’s “failure to unequivocally support Israel” and said she believes the Republican Party’s values and vision better align with hers. She suggested that the left has become so disconnected from Americans and that she wants to help build a world where children are judged based on their character and their actions— not on their labels and gender identity.

The Democrats ruini ... err, running... Colorado...

This past weekend was a perfect microcosm into the Democratic politics these days here in Colorado.

Long story short as to how we got where we were last week:
For a long time, the Colorado constitution had "the Gallagher amendment," which, among other things, limited the mill levy rate that counties/municipalities could apply to residential property. Since Democrats have taken over the legislature here, they really didn't like the amendment. So, a few years ago, they slickly-worded a ballot measure and were able to successfully get it repealed a few years ago.

So, the chickens are coming home to roost on that, and homeowners in Colorado have been made aware that we're all looking at a sudden, ~40% increase in our property taxes due this April.

Colorado politicians, including our POS governor, recognize the heat, and so they put another slickly worded measure on the ballot this year to address the huge impending tax increase ("proposition HH"). HH though was simply going to temporarily reduce our property tax rate, but then just take our anticipated tax refunds (referred to as TABOR refunds here in Colorado) to pay the "lost" revenue from the property tax rate cut. So, it was just going to take our money from a different pocket. The local news station figured that out, got the word out, and the measure failed.

That's how we got to last week.

So, our slime-ball governor called a "special session" to address/fix this impending property tax crisis. Democrats have large majorities throughout our state legislature.

It started Friday afternoon and went through Monday.

They passed:
- Rental assistance.
- Changed to the Earned Income Tax Credit.
- They "flattened" the TABOR tax refunds so that rather than it being proportional to how much taxpayers contributed, the "poor" would get more.

And this was the "property tax relief" (the whole point of the "special session") that they passed:

F_d0u3OW4AAFYzC

And now they're doing victory laps about how they saved us all from the big property tax increase with which we're about to get hit. They have literally no shame.
