East No. 5 WR and Penn State commit Cameron Sullivan-Brown makes big plays all over the field
Brian Dohn

Penn State commit and Laurel (Md.) St. Vincent Pallotti receiver Cameron Sullivan-Brown senior highlights and evaluation.

Senior Film Analysis: Cameron Sullivan-Brown, the No. 5 receiver in the East and a Penn State commit, is a very interesting prospect because of his size and versatility.

Having watched him in the spring and evaluated his senior tape, the 6-foot-1, 176-pounder from Laurel (Md.) St. Vincent Pallotti is physical and intriguing as a cornerback, although his best side of the ball is on offense.

But his mentality on defense is significant because it shows he likes contact, and he does not mind getting hit when making a catch as a receiver.

Sullivan-Brown tracks the ball well and he has strong hands. He needs to be better at high-pointing the ball when in traffic, but he is still able to make catches in tight spots. Getting his hands away from his body to catch the ball will be important at Penn State.

Sullivan-Brown is elusive after the catch, and he has the speed to pierce a defense. He will go over the middle and make the tough catch.

When it comes to getting in and out of breaks, Sullivan-Brown needs to tighten it up so he is more precise, which will allow him to get more separation coming out of a break. Adding strength to be able to beat jams at the line of scrimmage is a must.

Final Thought: Sullivan-Brown is a play maker, and he can turn a 6-yard slant into a 25-yard gain because of his burst and speed. He can stretch the field, and he is reliable as a pass catcher. A red-shirt year would be best because it will allow him to add strength.

I highly recommend viewing his highlight tape. This guy could play defense if he wanted, but I don't believe that's where JF wants him. He will be a very physical WR, getting good YAC and throwing who's - yer - daddy blocks downfield

Yeah, I remember we almost lost a kid, years ago, a WR from Pittston, to Georgia. Almost. Then, the old guy tasted his mother's gravy and said it was better than Mrs. Cappaletti's gravy. The kid came to Penn State.

Wonder how good Mrs. Webb's gravy is?

Do we have a full lineup of visitors for this weekend?
A few commits taking their OV as well as prospects?

At top of this page under "FB Recruiting" click on "Visit Dates" and it will show who is officially visiting and when. Don't know if the list is 100% accurate, but would guess it is fairly close.

Many of the commits are visiting on the Jan 20 weekend.

What happened with Joshua Paschal, the DE committed to Kentucky? Thought he had an OV to Penn State set up one of the next three weekends, but don't see anything about one now.

I don't pay attention to how much room we have with this class...what can we have, 85 on scholarship? If so, how many more spots do we have for the 2017 class?

It was spaghetti sauce .... I was at a Pittston chamber of commerce dinner about 12 yrs ago and Ceff was the main speaker along with Matt millen and he told that story.... I know most on this board don't like MM but he's funny as hell....
Italian gravy = spaghetti sauce (more or less, maybe better to say gravy is a kind of sauce, and everyone has their own recipe), but the Italians like to say gravy, or Sunday gravy.

Gravy is Tomato sauce with meatballs, pigs feet, spare ribs braising in the sauce--the drippings make it GRAVY ;) more flavor much better!!!

Is that the Big Ten championship trophy in the picture with Hansard? Nice touch being able to bring that along.
