2017 vs 2022

I recently watched a Franco Wrestling video which gave us the definitive answer (?!!). Yeah, the guy is pretty annoying, but since I saw it on the internet, it must be so.
The video was to name the greatest team ever that won 5 NCAA championships. There were 5 contestants, 2 Iowa teams, an Okie State team, and 2 from PSU. Of course they are the two teams being compared in this thread.

After long and tedious explanations, he concluded that Penn State 2017 was the greatest 5 champion team in history. But he ranked an Iowa team and the Okie State team just behind them.
Franco Wrestling said it. I rest my case.

Seems to me, we should allow the 2022 team members to actually finish their college careers, then look back and compare again.

My only point was that Amine while a bronze medalist is not the third best guy at the weight in the world so to say that AB shut down a bronze medalist is true it is also a bronze medalist that could not beat Mark Hall, Bo Jordan, Zahid Valencia, etc.

When each country is limited to one representative per weight class (which they are at the Olympics), taking a Silver or Bronze does not necessarily mean that you are the 2nd and 3rd best wrestler at the weight.
