2018 B1G Championship Session 3 Thread

I'm setting this up in advance. I WILL NOT be around, or be able to provide PBP. I'm hopeful that several of you will help out with this. You don't have to do each period, each move, etc. At a minimum, let folks know what mat a match will take place on, and the final score of the match.

Funny aside: Askren was losing his mind on Flo zone about these mini brackets last night. Couldn't believe they'd make Kuhn wrestle Maginnis again. It does seem it wouldn't need to be a 6-man bracket.

That’s interesting. I’m guessing Flo is right, Track oddly flipped Kuhn and the other winner last night from the natural bracket progression. I assumed it was for reseedin again, but didn’t make much sense.

Didn’t Piotrowski and Mattin go OT in round 1?

So, who caught the comment this morning from Roar saying there is a disappointment coming our way today. It wont effect NCAA’s. He said he had to be cryptic as of now.

Speculation on what he meant?

I can’t find it now, forget the thread. Someone asked about his impression at MSU.

I would assume someone got a little dinged and will mff out, but dont really remember seeing anything happen to any of the 5.

IMO the context of Roar's comments refer to the disappointment of not winning BIG10's. Nothing else. Read the comments leading up to it and judge for yourselves.

Fans I hang with are always positive. Far moreso than negative. Feeling is that we won't win, but could close the gap, being realistic.

That said, and I'm being cryptic here for a reason...there might be a bit of disappointment today, but it won't affect NCAA's.

The venue is wonderful, not a bad seat in the house, though we're on the 50, up about 20 rows.

Town is ok, though when I go to these events, the schedule is scripted, and we really don't see the town. Folks are friendly enough everywhere we've gone. One thing for sure...we eat well at these things!
