Again....the review process and result is often fairly effed up. If the flow had continued it should have been a 2 and 2 with Kuhn on top.
But in the end, you have to get off bottom.
I feel badly for Carson. Tough fight to do what he did and then get 2 Natos a Lee and Rivera in your first 5 matches. Hard to get some improvement and confidence going.

true...I hate that. I think they should score the action. Just as you said.
I dont feel bad for carson, the majority lost their last match on the mat. hes getting a graduate degree and has a good looking family.

It's too bad Kuhn didn't qualify for NCAAs, but we need not make excuses for him. He's at a tough weight in a tough conference and simply wasn't good enough.
FWIW, looks like Nick Lee is up (in the hole on mat 3) before Keener.
If Keener loses his next match, Byers seems to think that he is a near lock to get an at-large bid to NCAAs. Was a little surprised by that.
Roar mentioned the same thing this morning. But better if he wins it instead of letting it to a committee.
... and he'll get a national champions ring.
I think should both designate subs so it may be Cael vs. the tag team of the Brands brothers
Feel bad for Carson.
His time at PSU was short, but memorable.
Will always remember the 1st period throw of Nato in the tOSU dual. I had almost no voice by the end of the 1st period, and Rec Hall was absolute pandemonium. Carson gets at least a tiny bit of credit for that dual win.....for getting the crowd stoked and the team really fired up (not that they needed any extra motivation).
Edit: realize he has one last match....here's to hoping he can go out with a win.

No excuses made at all. Simply saying that he emerged from an 18 month retirement, busted his ass to make 125 when he’s not only older but last wrestled at 133 and unfortunately had little time to make adjustments and improvements when your first three matches are NATO, Lee and NATO and skip to Rivera. Kind of a bummer.
And it is a brutal weight class. No question.

No. During the season it is pretty standard, because you are expected to be able to get off the bottom. If not, then maybe you need to stay for awhile after practice.
During post-season situations may dictate something different.
Unbelievable he was not nailed once in neutral and again on bottom. Only move he had was fixing Lee's hair.
