On Fox, some broadcaster just said, “LemonPie should shut up and GIF.”
You have to wonder what they say during the match to get reactions like we have seen from Lewis and Massa. Also, I noticed in the Lee-Turk match that right after the announcer noted one of Brands came over near the end, Turk went into complete Debt Bravo mode. From an entertainment standpoint I like the Brands, but I sense that the other coaches and competitors don't care for their antics.
Uh, you could say the same about Iowa. Plenty of poor sportsmanship from the Hawkeyes over the years. Evans and Gilman come to mind immediately.
The team race is officially down to Ohio State and Penn State (see scores below). Currently, it tOSU 145.5 to PSU 127.5

Carson Kuhn wrestling for 11th place, i thought I heard that was as an alternate in case a person can’t go. If there are alternates why wasnt someone inserted in Suriano’s place last year, or was someone? If not was it becasue it was after weigh ins or travel to NCAA’s?

At least LP has'nt challenged anyone to a fight. IMHO, it's the only difference between him and Gunsie.
So who thinks they should send Nolf out to collect 3 team points in the 5th place match? I think the reaction alone would be worth it but lets get some some cheap team points as well.
For a team on the "rise" they are sure pretty low in the team standings. Even teams like Purdue and Northwestern are ahead of them.
Nice win by Nick Nevills. He has looked real good over the past month, nice movement for a big man.
First period
Keener shucks Thornton, then E1. Keener up 2-1.
Keener slide by, now up 4-1, :29 left.
Caution on start by Thornton.
Keener manages to ride out, 4-1 headed into second, Keener defers.
Second period
Thornton chooses bottom. Keener near a minute riding time.
Keener with a left boot in, nothing from Thornton. 1:36 RT.
Thornton finally gets away 1:46 RT, a minute left in period.
Keener tries to go upper body, both guys with whizzers, but Keener slips it and gets the TD, 6-2, and rides out.
Third period
Keener chooses neutral.
Riding time locked at 2:07, minute and a half remaining.
Thornton with a leg but Keener with a nice counter, makes it 8-2.
E1 makes it 8-3.
Keener hits a double without much resistance, now up 10-3, :24 remaining, needs to ride out for major.
Keener slips down to the leg, gets hit with a stall with less than :06 remaining.
Keener holds on, gets the major 11-3, and is going to Cleveland.

Perhaps or friends over at HR have found someone they dislike more than Cael now.
Big win for Nevills, he’s set himself and the team up well. An excellent five/six weeks or so of response before NCAA’s, great job there

Hey I'm serious. I can see it now, Jason runs out from the stands in jeans and a t-shirt with food and drink in hand. Sets his lunch down at the scorers table, checks in, runs out to get his hand raised, picks up his meal and heads back to the stands. If PSU were to win by less then 3, it would go down as one of the greats moments in college wrestling history.
And Jake Short just stuck Van Brill.
