2024 NCAA's - Match/discussion threads (merged)

Man, I don’t like him. That junk shouldn’t work against junior high kids let alone at the NCAA tournament but somehow he keeps pulling it off. Pins are fun but it just looks like absolute junk. I have to give him credit though. Kid is an absolute pinner. I wonder if he can keep it up through the next few years or if people’s will finally figure him out
I love it

I really want Kerk to play catch and release with these early round guys.

On Matcast, they mentioned Soldan had to be stretchered out. I didn't see what happened, but it must have been pretty bad.
If it's the guy I'm thinking about, he looked to have partially hit the concrete when he came down OOB. It looked like he hit mat in real time but his body language said concrete.

Kerks big man roll off bottom is insane. He generates so much power and the top guy just goes flying off him. I’ve never seen anyone hit that move with so much force
And they know it's coming and can't stop it. Very impressive.

Clearly Carter's conditioning suffered, but as far as I am concerned, he needed that extra 10 days. If he were a go at Bigs he would have his speed, power and has tank back by now. Let's hope he settles in before the Lewis match.

I agree but it looked to me like he got knocked out for a few seconds. Arms locked and went up and the million mile stare to nowhere. More like a boxer getting lit up. I don’t think his spine was involved. Hopefully he is better sooner rather than later.
didn't look bad. Sort of in body locks and he got foot swept and landed directly on his hip/side/back... I didn't see his head hit but didn't study the replay. but yea, eyes open and didn't move once he landed - got pinned and still didn't move.

Good bonus from some, but hard to see losses at 133 and 149, plus failure to get bonus from a 1 seed and a 2 seed in the first round, as not slightly disappointing. And yet PSU leads after the 1st round.

I posted the paths for Nagao and Kasak to the podium. It’s not going to be easy (obviously).

Glazier is back in. Afterward Smith face mushed him, then slapped him and got a DQ, then did a full split while flipping off the crowd.
Deja vu
