Credit Mendez there. Beau had him dead to rights twice. Mendez got out twice.

Beau needed to slow it down once he got to the leg to avoid the scramble. He should have handled that double at the end the way Levi does and picked him up and put him down on his hip.

They need to reward the opponent with a point if you lose the brick call then coaches might think twice about it. Also. Coaches should be able to challenge a call not throw bricks to get a call like locked hands otherwise why have refs at all. This is ridiculous I mean seriously how many missed locked hands calls were in this tournament probably close to a hundred

Oddly I'd favor Beau a little more after that match. If they go ten times and Beau gets to legs like he did there he's gonna win seven of them.

Agreed. It was kind of strange. Usually Mendez is super aggressive. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him wrestle a match without firing off an attack. These 2 are so evenly matched. I think if they wrestle 10 times they probably both win 5 and all are probably 1 td matches
