Credit Mendez there. Beau had him dead to rights twice. Mendez got out twice. How in the hell did that happen? Beau actually wrestled much better than he usually does.

Not one shotHow the hell did Mendez do that. I was watching it but couldn't believe it
You mean an illiteracy epidemic?there is a literacy epidemic in the country.
it was Caliendo has a better shot at KOT than Caliendo has a shot at MM
Yep I think if they called it then it would have stoodHand touch but now there’s reaction time right?
I’d say it was more just a really bad finish by Beau. Completely behind him with hands locked. Have to finish that 100 out of 100 timesCredit Mendez there. Beau had him dead to rights twice. Mendez got out twice.
Kind of a reverse of their first match where Mendez was the aggressor, but Bartlett won the exchangesThat’s brutal. Beau was the better guy. Mendez didn’t take a single attack. Beau was so close to 2 tds
Thanks, dadAlso we don’t get to complain about how Mendez won considering the manner in which Beau has won many a big match
Mendez will get his picture on the Buckeye wall next to Pletcher and Moore. Tough sequence to lose on for Bartlett
Pretty much Beau got beat at his own game. He's got to finish faster and cleaner. Also we don’t get to complain about how Mendez won considering the manner in which Beau has won many a big match
Burroughs: Mendez is an Ohio kid.
Fact: Mendez is from Indiana.
Also we don’t get to complain about how Mendez won considering the manner in which Beau has won many a big match
I like this. Much like the nhl. They need to reward the opponent with a point if you lose the brick call then coaches might think twice about it. Also. Coaches should be able to challenge a call not throw bricks to get a call like locked hands otherwise why have refs at all. This is ridiculous I mean seriously how many missed locked hands calls were in this tournament probably close to a hundred
Oddly I'd favor Beau a little more after that match. If they go ten times and Beau gets to legs like he did there he's gonna win seven of them. For all the crap Beau takes on here, he was the aggressor. That match is truly a 50-50 match every time they go.
Ironic considering complaining about how Mendez wrestled is extremely childish. Thanks, dad
Agreed. It was kind of strange. Usually Mendez is super aggressive. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him wrestle a match without firing off an attack. These 2 are so evenly matched. I think if they wrestle 10 times they probably both win 5 and all are probably 1 td matchesKind of a reverse of their first match where Mendez was the aggressor, but Bartlett won the exchanges
Loved how he wrestled that match. Mendez just pulled off some houdini shit to counter him bFor all the crap Beau takes on here, he was the aggressor. That match is truly a 50-50 match every time they go.
