70kg Consi Semi - #4 PJ Duke (KDTC) VS #9 Will Lewan (CKWC)

Here we go. Circling. Lewan shoots, nothing. PJ coming forward, Lewan locked over the top & it's a stalemate, restart. A moment of injury time for PJ, not sure what was wrong. Back to action. PJ tries a throw by, nothing & they're tying up in the center. Passivity warning Lewan, restart. Lewan coming forward, tries a throw by, nothing. PJ working a 2 on 1 now & pushes Lewan out, 1-0 PJ, restart, 1:47 left. Tying up & circling. Lewan tries a throw by, nothing. 2nd passivity warning Lewan & he goes on the clock, restart. Circling, Lewan reaches nothing. Lewan with a body lock, but PJ fights out of it. PJ shot clock point, 2-0. Lewan tries an arm spin & misses badly, restart. Lewan faking, looking under hook. PJ holding solid position & they break. Lewan shoots, nothing, PJ counters & drives Lewan out of bounds, 3-0. Wow! restart, 20-sec left, Lewan shoots, nothing & back to tying up in the center & that's how the period ends. 3-0 PJ. PJ looks great!

Back to it. Circling, Lewan tries to jack up PJ, they're scrambling & then back to their feet. PJ with incredible defense. Circling & tying up. PJ pushing forward, stoppage, PJ passivity warning, restart. Circling, Lewan shoots, PJ circles away. Lewan looks throw by, nothing. Circling, Lewan reaches for a leg, nothing, Lewan comes forward, PJ blocks & comes out on top for another TD, 5-0 restart. 1:30 left. Circling & tying up. Lewan shoots, PJ defending, has a whizzer in, Lewan tries to step over, PJ crabs the leg, but Lewan works for the TD, 5-2, restart. Tying up, PJ pushing forward a little, but then back to center. Lewan shoots, PJ blocks him off. Lewan shoots again, PJ evades. Lewan with another shot, but no luck. Lewan looking under hook & coming forward, but time expires.

If Sadulaev shows up and is halfway healthy, everyone else is wrestling for silver.
Levi has such mastery over leverage both in his attacks and his defense. Can't move him where he doesn't want to go and he moves you most of the time.
Levi just dominated KOT. Oh My, just an unreal performance
Levi has the deadlift strength of an Olympian and concrete hips. I think he has jumped levels going up two weights!!
Levi appears to be way stronger than KOT, from that match I don't know how you could even expect their next meeting to be competitive. Levi will ride him out and probably turn him in folk.
Levi just put on the best recruiting ad we could hope for.
Yup, everybody loves to look right on past and undefeated returning NC. Not even just the Missouri guys, but definitely the FLO guys (they will find some reason to keep O'Toole ranked above Levi even after this, and the fact that O'Toole took 3rd last year), and even some guys on this board.
But it's freestyle. It will be much better when Levi goes undefeated in folkstyle again this year.
I like how Flo can do split screen for commercials but not to air more than one mat at a time.

I wonder what will happen with Facundo. He looks like an obvious odd man out this year and it won’t get any better. He hasn’t lived up to his potential in folkstyle but he is obviously very good so it will be interesting where he goes. Also curious on what he considers his optimal weight since he certed at 165 apparently
