Davis' combination of zero Neutral Offense and propensity to give up his legs is going to be lethal at Nationals...... again. You need more than toughness to do well at Nationals.... tough wrestlers are a dime a dozen at this level - honestly, they're all tough generally. Wrestlers with Neutral Offense against AA-capable opponents is much rarer...
Iowa wrestling can’t elevate when they reach these tournaments. Their wrestlers have absolutely no offense. It’s rinse and repeat every year.
Tyler should be wearing a Jason Voorhees mask at minimum.In the PIAA finals Jax Forrest came out wearing a soft helmet. Are any college kids wearing these? Maybe they can get one for Kasak before Nationals? Then, he wouldn't have to worry about his hair getting in the way either.

You need to seriously pump the brakes dude. It's his first real wrestling back in over a month. This is nothing more than a training tournament for Davis before Nationals.

Easily the most Traumatizing experience of my life........although I didn't understand it until years later. My mother pushed me out but was pushing so hard she sh!t herself. I'll never forget the Doctor's words: "Congrats.....Twins" ........Haunts me still

Period 1:
Norris is a long & lanky kid. Circling & tying up. Davis shoots, but no luck. Davis hits a fireman's & takes Norris to his back. Davis gets the TD, 3-0 & 4 NF, 7-0 & Norris rolls back to his chest. Davis has Norris bellied out on the edge now. Out of bounds & restart. Davis gives up the escape, 7-1 & starts neutral. Davis comes forward & gets a leg on the edge. He drags Norris back in. Norris looks for a whizzer, but Davis bulls him down for another TD, 10-1. Davis cuts Norris, 10-2. Davis presses forward & drops in on a leg, then finishes another TD, 13-2. Davis turns Norris & adds 4 NF more for the 17-2 Techfall in 2:03!!! That was a beatdown! Davis was perfectly prepped for that match!
