I imagine they are working on stuff and will continue to do so. With Kerk & Cass possibly seeing one another 3 more times this season, this was the match in which to try some new stuff.
Sorry, I am a Dad of twin girls and I take this stuff a little more testily than I used to.
Cass is a stud that was just born at the wrong time. Would sit down with him anytime, and I hope he finishes 2nd.
Makoyed has a better chance of being a 2024 rep than Blades. By a LOT.
184 Aaron Brooks vs Parker Keckeisen
AB low leg shot but nothing. Then an ankle and quick finish. 2-0 AB. Quick escape. 2-1. Lots of action now from both men. Keck shoots and AB reshoots and eventually gets TD. 4-1 now AB. 1:04 to go on a restart. Riding now. Out with 34 to go. 4-2 50 secs RT. AB changing levels. Both guys staying active. 4-2 after one.
Keck takes bottom. Out quickly. 4-3 AB. 54 secs RT. Slick low shot and quick finish for AB. 6-3 now. Escape. 6-4. 1:21 RT. Brooks reattack and quick TD. 8-4 AB. Starting to wear Keck down I think. Has him flattened out. Half Nelson. Keck escapes at end of period. 8-5 after two. 2:05 RT.
AB chooses bottom. Out in 14 secs. 9-5 AB. Another AB re-attack TD. 11-5. Keck staying very active too. Escape. 11-6. RT clinched. Great action throughout. Late Keck shot finishes. 12-8 AB is the final.

He has 1 guy in that room. Greg has 3 gold medalists and the greatest wrestler and coach who ever lived....still, this now is about Greg's added weight and strength because those exact same moves end in zero points against Big Cass without the added weight and power.
This isn’t competitive. Is it possible AB jumped levels?
FWIW, I took his post to mean that a niche sporting event behind a paywall isn’t going to grow the sport — because only established fans are (a) going to know about the event and (b) be willing to pay for it.
I’m 100% behind womens wrestling and it getting equal air time, but I didn’t see that post as a slight againt it.
EDIT: I do see where there was an issue with an earlier post, though.

If there was one negative it would be Brooks kind of took his foot off the gas at the end and got complacent. The match was already out of reach barring a pin and I am positive he doesn't replicate that come March.
