Pitt has fast LB’s and a decent secondary. They can definitely hang with us for awhile especially if our Offense comes out flat again. I think our D-line though will overwhelm and force Pickett into bad throws. I’m going with a closer than expected game, 30-17 PSU

I'm worried about Pitt's facemasking. They were sore losers last year. I hope this year they're just losers.
Buffalo has a better offensive line and quarterback than Pitt. Pitt has a better defense than Buffalo.
Could we lose? Yes...but we are 17 point favorites for a reason.
The spread is 17 and you are predicting a 13 point win. Not that far off from what Vegas is expecting.

This has to be one of the dumbest fanbases in America. This game will be close. No amount of gazing at star ratings will change that. Pitt is deeper and more experienced, while PSU is more talented overall, but you can't fix in one week all of that confusion and uncertainty on the PSU D or utter cluelessness of the PSU OL in picking up blitzes. McSorely will be running for his life all game.
PSU also wont be able to wear down Pitt as the game progresses. Pitt rotates 6-7 players at each level throughout the defense with little drop off between them. Pitt might not be littered with 4 and 5 star talent, but you will know the names Wirginis, Camp and Weaver by game's end.
I expect to be banned within minutes, but I will return after the game to revel in the anguish and misery that will occur here immediately following. Good luck Saturday. You are going to need it.

Maybe get a rag and a bucket of water and clean some of the soot off the Cathedral of Learning. Why not start a collection to pay off Dorsett's unpaid parking tickets? Maybe you get some cardboard and make cutout fans to sit in your rented stadium so it doesn't look so empty on game day.

People were worried last year after the App State and App State was better than Pitt as was proven. We ended up blowing Buffalo out and they have a much much better OLine than Pitt.
And Clemson wasn’t really that motivated...regardless of whether this is a rivalry game or not, our guys are motivated to win and so is Franklin.

Not worried at all. Ollison and their line last year created problems in the first half like Buffalo. Their line is bad and Ollison gone. If they can't run they have no chance.

Worried about it what? We have been running vanilla everything and have been constantly switching personnel to get guys reps. This is game one of the season in a sense. It will be First and Second teamers rotating until we are up by 28 again.

I am not sure how much we know about our team. I looked at Phil Steele mag last night, and he had picked them 3rd in their division of the MAC and only had 3 of their players on the ALL MAC team (1st to 4th string offense and defense). the one 1st team player was Patterson the RB. if that is a fair eval of Buffalo, we did not beat a great team, and lost badly at the line in both directions. our RBs ypc vs Buffalo ypc was not good. is Buffalo better than Pitt? it would not seem so, unless Buffalo is a surprise team compared to what was expected. that may be the case. Buffalo looked to really try to take the run away, and play assuming our QB was not going to run. reminded me of the defenses that we ran into when Hack was QB. crowd the line, hold/PI on pass def and assume QB is not going to be a run threat.

This team is developing chemistry and it can only make them scarier to play every game on out...
I am worried about this game. Narduzzi started planning for this game in January. An upset would be huge for his career at Pitt. Also worried that I have a son-in-law who's a Pitt grad and fan. Bragging rights with my grandsons will be at stake.

Technically it will be 3.5. PSU has dominated them since the second half of the 2016 game.
Thinking more in the 24-28 range, but I think it’ll prove to be true. 37-13 is my pick.
