It's a mystery until the buzzer sounds. History says it should happen, and the Amine family gets more TV exposure than Moriah, so there's that too.

If Marinelli goes out a champion for a 2nd place Iowa team, I’d be okay with it. I might even be happy about it if he doesn’t push guys OOB and then look at the ref for a stall call.

That's the rub, you know damn well as soon as they are half way into a match and the score differential is 1 point or less he is going all in puppy dog staring at the ref pleading for that stall call. With Brands screaming in a harsh rhythm "sttttaaalllliiinnng, sttttaaalllliiinnng, come on he's chased that motherphucker all over the maaaaaat!"

My confidence is waning at this point, I can see all of Iowa's dudes getting a ton of help from the refs "out of respect for their storied careers." Starocci will give up two stalling points and RBY might get a stalling default. Eierman won't get stall calls against Lee but they'll probably give him a dubious TD on a scramble or call Nick Lee for some crazy penalty point.

I just keep thinking about the ridiculous stalling calls on RBY last year.
