Don't shoot the messenger.

The McFadden example is applicable if any of the Suriano family regularly tweets. Nobody from the staff, nor team members are going to tweet anything. If my kid, I am certainly not addressing message board rumors.

so your telling me the guy/kid that puts a pic of themselves on the internet cant say in the same, Im staying at PSU? I could be all wet and hope I am, but im not.

I find it hard to believe he would give up wrestling on one of the most dominant teams ever and a team that has the real chance to win NCs each of his 4 years wrestling but anything is possible when it comes to the mind of an nineteen year old. If he is home sick or doesn't feel a part of the team for what ever reason, he could consider moving to Rutgers.. I hope for both his sake and ours as fans that is not the case.. would be nice if he tweeted or instagramed to end the speculation..

Conflicting signals there with that tweet, Instagram post for sure. Let's hope the lack of transparency is to mess with the other side.

Real clear signal to me: he says what he wants, when he wants. He determines what's important to him. We don't have a say.

As it should be.

I don't doubt that, and I don't disagree. Just saying that post didn't shed light on anything, and so most fans are still left in the dark.

I don't have any problem with that, and I didn't mean to imply otherwise.

Not a PSU guy but find this interesting for sure. Have financials been discussed in regards to Nick. Perhaps he is no longer getting what he thinks he deserves, 9.9 with all the talent is not a lot

Yeah, someone comments about a lack of social media output from NIck and reposts an Instagram post from him. I do two quick google searches for "Nick Suriano on Twitter" and "Nick Suriano on Instagram" and link two very public social media accounts to place things in perspective. Really creepy. To you, maybe. But that says a lot more about you than me.

I guess Rivals is creepy, then, because it lists "[date] Joined:" and "[num. of] Messages:" statistics next to each poster's each post. o_O
Seems to me awhile back some on here were condemning certain iowa posters for following young recruits on social media too close. I would guess he misses a good dumpster dive

I was thinking that as well. I wonder if he calls out his buddy over on HR for following a/o sending messages to hs kids as being creepy.

His pic, location, shades etc. is very telling to me. he is alone and hasn't made up his mind yet.

My take...if he thought he "deserved" what he originally signed at PSU for then 5 champs (none of which include him) would not lead someone to feel they deserved more. Without knowing what everyone gets though it is hard to say.

Gotta admit. The only part of the last 10 or 11 pages I understood was Wildturk's "party hard tonight" suggestion. WT I will be grilling a beautiful pork loin, corn on the cob, a roasted red beet salad and fresh peaches. Washing it down with a stellar Pinot noir. Great thinking, thanks.

You have a classy palate good sir. Chili dogs, a handful of Doritos and maybe a dill pickle on the side for me. Oh and I'll drown it all down with a 12 pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon...

JS that was my diet until a year ago when I need to have 2 stents put in. I was the guy horsing down a bag of cheese doodles, a fruit punch Gatorade and a 12 of vitamin Y. I miss that stuff like a junkie misses smack. Now it's the gym, fruits and veggies and hopefully a good nights sleep. Loosing 20 pounds has been like getting rid of a bag of mulch around my mid section.

tonight is fish fry. smoked, broiled and fried trout fresh from pine creek. then made redbeet eggs and picked some fresh zuchinni from the garden for vegetable pizzas. thats my contribution to tonights feast.

Beer at the 'rents is coors light, so Ill probably just drink the sun tea ;)

will have plenty of dogs tomorrow at the baseball game and SC fireworks.

I just heard from a really reliable source that Nicks father wants nick to wrestle 133 this coming year and Cael/staff said no. Family is not happy and Nick has yet to return to state college.

Ughhh... That sucks. Thanks for the info.

My gal pal and i are having thick cut grilled Ribeyes with mushrooms and onions. I will devour mine and probably half of hers :DAlso Loaded baked potatoes, Fresh Iowa sweet corn and asparagus from the markers farment(farmers market);)by my house. I wrap the asparagus in bacon with a couple tooth picks. Tonight im drinking George Killians and my better half will be sippin on Sun Tea she made outside today since she quit drinking booze 3 years ago. Going to be a good night! Happy Birthday America!:D

PETA wants to know what good uses are for bacon......we now have another. I will try that, we grill a lot of asparagus as we have a couple of beds of them.

I curious as why they would say no. Folks on this board had posted several times that Cortez was going 41 and suspected that Lee would shirt, so who was going to be our 33 anyhow?

just speculating, but if they let Suriano go 133, that could have negative consequences for some of future recruits. Teasdale, RBY?

Because Cael never lets guys move up weight classes. Name one PSU wrestler who has bumped up a weight over their career. Rotflmao.

Wouldn't we have a hole at 25 if Nick went up?

I know the head coach makes the final call, but if it came down to losing NS or allowing a wrestle off with Keener, doesn't seem like much of a choice. Team-wise, it would really hurt as the other 125s are not likely as ready to step on the mat as both Nick and Keener...
