FC: Auburn planning some kind of all white uniforms…?

I love it! I hope the do embrace the whiteout. Very cool, remember this is supposed to be fun!

I don’t particularly care about fashion. That said, I would look at this as more of an homage to the whiteout than anything else. SEC typically is into the pageantry of college football and this could just be their attempt to add to it.

That gave me a flashback to December 1982 when I was a freshman. Bowl matchups had already been set when Alabama came to Rec Hall for a basketball game. They came out for warm ups wearing tee shirts which read “Beat Georgia” or something to that effect. The crowd went nuts. They later threw the shirts into the stands so somewhere out there are some souvenir shirts. Alabama won the basketball game though.

For what its worth, I LOVE auburn uniforms generally. I love a white helmet. Like penn state, both helmets would look way better with gray face masks.

Many years ago Penn State played Iowa in a White Out, Iowa’s first (maybe only) White Out game. A few days before the game Ferentz was asked how they would prepare for it and he said they would participate by wearing their white unis. Clever response.
