First Announced Match of the next NLWC Event

I want to think Berge with a comment like that.
I was thinking that as well - a healthy Brady Berge is my top priority, so seeing him would be great. That said, I mentioned previously that I don’t want him in exhibitions, but if he’s ready to go ...

Cenzo's TBD opponent has yet to be named.

Also, BTW, Cassar looked good in the Gilman wedding pic. Just sayin'.

I have been hearing some whispers for some time now, will not be surprised if we do no

Espinal in for Brooks.

That is a good test for Beard. Bulsak beat Beard 11-8 at the Clarion Open last November and went on to be the #10 seed for the 2020 NCAAs that didn't happen. If Beard reverses that result I will be VERY happy and figure we are set at 197 for the next five seasons, unless the NCAA changes the rules again re the free year for the 2020-21 season.

Beard seemed to suffer from the typical freshman small gastank syndrome. Also, couldn't get out from under Bulsak, IIRC.

Any word on Brooks?

Maybe. The only hitch is that Beard won't have to fight out from under leg rides.

Someone posted a way to show Rokfin on a roku tv for the last event, I guess I could try to find the post, but thought it was just easier to ask here. Any tips?

No Beard beat Bulsak during his grey shirt year.

In last year's match, Beard took Bulsak down twice in the first period but it was 6-5 due to two stall warnings, an escape and a reversal each way. Beard dominated on the feet. In period two, Bulsak escaped to tie and then managed to get a take down at the edge after fighting off several off Beard's shots. He rode out the rest of the period and the first 130 of the third to secure a riding time point. He also got a 2 point turn. Beard reversed with about 15 seconds left and almost got a tying turn. Based on these two matches, I think Beard is a favorite (even a big one) since Beard really did not score much in ways that would translate to freestyle.
