Actually I like Askren because he’s almost no holds barred. He’s going to get them into trouble one day, but it’s lively.I listened once since Willie left....wasn't the same. I haven't missed them TBH...

I would've said like heroin.Rankings are like those food advertisements that make things look so good. Then you get your food. Lol. They are fun to look at and discuss, that’s it.
As usual, you are the voice of reason.
What is frustrating about Flo’s rankings is their attitude that they are the result of some pristine, unassailable process. It is especially frustrating to hear them speak as if the ratings in a new season have been earned and are not projections of any sort. Nothing has been earned in 2020-21 yet. Everyone is 0-0. Despite this, they preach about the sanctity of their process which without any valid rationale refuses to consider HS or international results while considering results at different weights or from years before.
For example, an argument can be made as to who to rank higher between Nick Lee and Eirman. However, Flo contends that it has to be Eirman because he beat Lee 3 years ago when he was in his third year at Missouri and Lee his first while ignoring the freestyle result from 7 months ago as well as Lee’s improvements and results from last year. Eirman’s most recent results were 28-4 and a 3rd place finish. Lee was 20-1 and seeded 2 and considered a heavy favorite to at least make the finals if not win.
I would bet you every single ranking service puts Eierman above Lee.
And they’d all be wrong. Nick will smoke Eirman again. And, Nick will wrestle for a spot on the Olympic team next spring while Eirman watches the trials on Flo.I would bet you every single ranking service puts Eierman above Lee.
The egg man will still have his awesome tats though (#worsttattoosoutsidethecellblock)And they’d all be wrong. Nick will smoke Eirman again. And, Nick will wrestle for a spot on the Olympic team next spring while Eirman watches the trials on Flo.
