They really should have a blackout period on this until after the season is over.

Like PSU's transfers, it doesn't seem like these guys are key contributors for the most part.
Probably not, but it’s a bad look during the middle of the season. Must be great for the locker room chemistry.
This has nothing to do with the transfer portal. Nothing was stopping guys deciding to transfer mid-season prior to the portal.
Part of reason he transferred is he was no longer the starter. MSU has a freshman starting and not much behind him now.Not sure who is discussed in the article, but they recently lost Heyward to transfer - and he was their starting TB (and they don’t have much behind him).

Perhaps it was considered by many but most would have played out the season instead of quitting or transferring immediately. And transferring was difficult so a lot fewer did so.
This is crazy. Should be time limits. No one allowed once season practice camp starts in August and not until after the regular season is over.
It hurts not only teams but hurts the kids that listen to other coaches make promises they won't fulfill.
It allows players to make their intentions known to every team in the country. Not sure how they would achieve that before the portal
doesn't matter who or what they have, they have given us FITS the past 2 years.
Last years MSU loss was....disappointing.
They were down 8 starters. We had two weeks to prepare. We were at home.
