Starocci is an absolute hammer...none of his matches were close. He dominated from start to finish in all three positions. It seems as if there will be a seamless transition from Marky to Carter and it was fitting that he wore Hall's USA singlets the entire tournament.

On a side note, Joe Lee and Beard will both be formidable. With another year of growth, Lee should be great at 165 for Cenzo (that is unless he can't beat out Manville). Awesome to have that type of competition for a weight class. Beard lost some matches he shouldn't have lost due to gas tank issues, but that will take care of itself. He is right there competing with and beating guys in the top 10 in the country. The new murderer's row in the back half of the lineup will be: Lee/Manville, Starocci, AB, Beard, Nevills/Kerkvliet.

Maybe previously at other tournaments, but not at the Scuffle. He wore the Hall red and blue singlets for every match. I watched them all.

Carter was a kid in HS who, while very good, you could see he oozed untapped insane potential. And the short time in the room is bringing that potential out in waves

I could only imagine how good he would be if Cael & Co. could actually coach instead of just recruit ......

As unattached wrestlers, they were on their own against wrestlers who had their coaches nearby. Each Beard and Lee lost matches where they had a lead.

Yeah, I get that. Just noting that on-mat coaching in the tournament would have helped and who better than Cael and Casey.
