Now that’s comedy. They’d be better off trying to hold their breath and throw themselves on the floor.Just heard on ESPN radio non SXM that their board of regents were actually discussing leaving.
Michigan ethics at work.Oh jesus, even the judge is a cheater:
For the second time in as many weeks, Judge Tim Connors is being accused of a conflict of interest for accepting campaign donations from attorneys appearing before him in court.
We are leaving if we are not allowed to cheatI won't lie--if this is the end of the NCAA and conferences I'll be thrilled.
But I think emotions will calm down.
The courts? Lol I'm not sure you understand how law works.I don't understand why people are still so emotional about this as Penn State fans
The Big Ten acted (kind of) and it was pointless. They were afraid of Michigan pursuing this legally so they elected to do something so minor (not even calling it a suspension) hoping Michigan wouldn't act. Harbaugh of course acted and now we get to have fun watching it all play out.
We can still hope the NCAA comes down hard on Michigan (I'm hoping for that for many reasons) but what happened today was essentially meaningless aside from pissing off Michigan. Harbaugh can still coach in the BTCCG and the playoff.
Regardless, tomorrow's a big game for US. If we can't beat Michigan and Harbaugh with all of this going on that says a lot about Franklin. The heat will turn up big time especially being at home.
We all knew that if the Big Ten acted the courts would likely favor Michigan at least temporarily as the Big Ten misplayed this from the start.
Absolutely? A rent-a-judge signs something under cover of night when NCAA has provided clear evidence of extensive UM spy cheating unlike CF has seen. If he signs this BS, I expect his career is over bc he will look like a bias moron who would sign a napkin if it helped UMThey absolutely have to comply.
It's not a lot to happen by noon tomorrow truthfully.
i doubt that but okayWe are leaving if we are not allowed to cheat
I'm an attorney--very aware--are you?The courts? Lol I'm not sure you understand how law works.
I am. You truly think filing that gets him on sideline?I'm an attorney--very aware--are you?
In Michigan they elect judges.Absolutely? A rent-a-judge signs something under cover of night when NCAA has provided clear evidence of extensive UM spy cheating unlike CF has seen. Like California threatening to leave when Trump was elected. Most of the country was hoping they would leave. Most of B10 would also root on Michigan's exit as well. If they need expense money we could start of gofundme for them!!!!Just heard on ESPN radio non SXM that their board of regents were actually discussing leaving.
Did you read the filing? Yes, I believe it gets him on the sideline.I am. You truly think filing that gets him on sideline?
We shall see.Did you read the filing? Yes, I believe it gets him on the sideline.
Why don't you?
Well obviously but why don't you?We shall see.
Na. Just watch the game.
What harm? They won games already when he was suspended to start season. Does the law take into account if they are playing a patsy or top 10 team?Well obviously but why don't you?
They have a judge in their favor and they can prove harm not recoverable by payment as they can't replay the games. The Big Ten used poor judgement with this ruling.
Again, I don't care what happens. I actually would have loved for the Big Ten to have done something substantial but we have this nonsense.
It is unclear to me how an ex parte order from a podunk state court in Michigan could have a jurisdictional effect on a football game held in Pennsylvania by a miscellaneous member organization.Well obviously but why don't you?

Seriously? Your legal response is believing that court doesn't have juridiction? It is unclear to me how an ex parte order from a podunk state court in Michigan could have a jurisdictional effect on a football game held in Pennsylvania by a miscellaneous member organization.
Michigan suspending him has zero impact on this decision. They're independent and no one is disputing that Michigan has the authority. What harm? They won games already when he was suspended to start season. Does the law take into account if they are playing a patsy or top 10 team?
Is that frowned upon? I have worked in many offices where that happens all the timeMichigan ethics at work.
Tim Connors isn't hearing the case.Oh jesus, even the judge is a cheater:

What financial compensation? Sounds like BS. He will get paid by UM. We will all chip in for his day off. What is his venmo?..or I can ask Connor. He has it.Michigan suspending him has zero impact on this decision. They're independent and no one is disputing that Michigan has the authority.
Harm is going to claim that if the court determines the commissioner acted above his authority, which is the dispute, that the game can't be replayed and they, Harbaugh in particular, can't be financially compensated due to that.
It's just law. It's not about right or wrong and has absolutely nothing to do with the opponent.
Carol Kunhke is now reported, probably Harbaugh's sister in law.
I'm not sure what an ex parte Michigan state court ruling has on a collegiate game being held in Pennsylvania under the auspices of a member organization which is organized in Illinois for all I know. I know enough to know I don't know.Seriously? Your legal response is believing that court doesn't have juridiction?
I believe Harbaugh will be on the sidelines for tomorrow's game. I have no idea if he will be on the sidelines for Maryland or Ohio State though. Stay tuned...
To fulfill the "harm" of an emergency review it has to be proven that financial reimbursement wouldn't solve for the situation. That works here. What financial compensation? Sounds like BS. He will get paid by UM. We will all chip in for his day off. What is his venmo?..or I can ask Connor. He has it.
He wasn't suspended.Employees are suspended during an investigation all the time…not sure why this is different.
You're rambling nonsense now. Where to you believe this should have been filed and why? Seeing if you're an attorney as you claimed...I'm not sure what an ex parte Michigan state court ruling has on a collegiate game being held in Pennsylvania under the auspices of a member organization which is organized in Illinois for all I know. I know enough to know I don't know.
I'm not sure why if you are a lawyer you wouldn't be concerned with how applicable it would be.
He’ll be on the field tomorrow if UM gets the TRO, which based on finding a friendly judge is almost a certainty. If and that’s an interesting if, the BIG seeks a stay early next week (in Federal Court) he won’t be for Maryland and OSU. If not, then this whole process has been enormous circle jerk.I believe Harbaugh will be on the sidelines for tomorrow's game. She’s an elected judge living in Ann Arbor. How do you think she’ll role? Really direct matter though, just buying time before the inevitableHe’ll be on the field tomorrow if UM gets the TRO, which based on finding a friendly judge is almost a certainty. Everyone with an IQ over 70 knows what she’s going to do. She probably wears a maze and blue robe and enters the Courtroom to a rousing rendition of “Hail to the Victors”.She’s an elected judge living in Ann Arbor. How do you think she’ll role? The ignore button threat is perhaps the most flaccid internet-based threat out there
I would imagine that the big would immediately file a notice of removal to federal court based on diversity jurisdiction. Note that once the notice is filed it’s effect is to immediately deprive the state court of jurisdiction. If filed after a tro is entered, the tro is still effective, but the federal court can stay or dissolve it (if it doesn’t expire if it’s own terms), as in this example:If the Big Ten chooses to overturn, they should be able to find a federal judge who will hear the case next week.
