Incredible freshmen everywhere.... and some damn incredible ....

I've liked the little bit we've seen of #86, Daniel George. He caught that ball today and turned it up the sideline fast. He's a big WR too. Almost looks like a TE out there.

George just seems to have that "it" factor when he catches the ball. Granted, his sample size is very small. WR battles will be very interesting next year.

He stands out when he's on the field. I think he'll be a serious match-up problem for opposing teams.
I don’t care who is on the field next season as long as we limit the drops. I never saw drops in the same frequency as this year.

We need someone to step up to keep the pressure off KJ - we have the talent pool at WR for that on paper.

Our receiving corps could include KJ and Dotson, Johnson, Shorter and George, Friermuth and Kuntz. That is a ton of talent. If Dunmore and Bell are in the competition, and if Sullivan-Brown and Hipp make strides, even better.

I hope Tommy has the ability to throw first and run second. I think that Trace and the rpo with a real QB running threat was absolutely essential to the program with OL problems coming out of sanctions. Our evolution into Top 4 caliber needs to include a more professional pass heavy scheme to keep good defenses honest.

2019 will be a team like we have not seen since the 1990s. Completely loaded with talent and realistically able to contend for a national championship. It will all come down to injuries and coaching.
Good potential but it depends on how a new QB plays and who comes back.

DT - better if starters return and Hansard
DE - better
LB - better
DB - lose 2 but similar

QB - ???
OL - maybe worse w/o McGovern & Wright
RB - better if Sanders returns
TE - better
WR - better

Agree wholeheartedly. We need to transition to more of a pro-style offense and ditch the worst elements of Moorhead's system. Some of his weird tendencies are still hanging around like bugs in a computer program.
