And you can find random "Gabe Arnold is transferring" tweets from various times over the past 6 months. I have a hard time believing this one.
What I don't understand is...why isn't Gabe wrestling 174 this year, if that is his long term weight. Nelson Brands is apparently better than Kennedy, but he just went 7 minutes wrestling a "maybe a title contender" tier guy at 174 without making a single offensive move. There can't be any illusions that Nelson is a title contender at the weight. So why not wrestle Gabe there? Is he NOT better than either of those two?

It's hard to fathom considering Brands does absolutely nothing on the mat, but I believe you if you say so, you have the connections there. If Gabe Arnold, and PK as well for that matter, can't beat him, there's something seriously wrong in the Iowa room. Both are far more talented.
