Ayala has the talent to AA, but nobody thinks he's replacing Spencer's Points. Relatively healthy Spencer techs or pins his way to the finals.

Watching Warner wrestle makes me so thankful I'm a Penn State Fan.

I think that's Ayala's 5th loss.... Far from a sure thing AA. Heinselman isn't all that and he out-wrestled Ayala pretty solidly.

Ridiculous the way the Ref allowed Warner to wrestle the 3rd Period. Gave up an immediate TD after Hoffman put him on his feet to start period. Warner proceeded to do nothing but stall after this - either going backwards to avoid shots or engaging in collar-ties and doing absolutely nothing but waiting for a stalemate.
Last year's match answered that question definitively.

Not a great performance by Iowa tonight. This version of Iowa gets slapped by PSU. Hopefully it’s a wake up call or next Friday night might require 6-10 more beers than my usual 2 beer dual.
Whoop-Dee-Doo, he allowed Warner to stall his way to a win - stalled the entire 3rd Period. Ref knew he stalled the entire 3rd Period - Ref knows only calling one stall allows him to stall his way to a 1-point "win" and that's exactly what the Ref allowed him to do. Ridiculous.
Exactly. Heinselman beat Ayala and out-wrestled him worse than the score would indicate.... and Heinselman isn't a sure-fire AA by any means.
