Strangely absent - Gary, Bush, Hurst. All familiar names the weeks leading up to the game. In their place we kept hearing the names Kinnel, McCray and Metellus.
While the aforementioned stars were chasing ghosts, we, by design, were going over and around them to attack the weak links on their defense.
I'm not sure the coaches are getting enough credit for this win. They did a masterful job of finding mismatches and playing the game on our terms. Kudos too go to the players for executing the game-plan.
This is what makes our O so hard to defense. If a D has weaknesses, we have coaches who know how to exploit them and players who can get it done.
