Klatt seems to think that replacing Evans and the #18 portal WR Wallace with the #36 & #45 portal WRs is a big upgrade. That's difficult for me to understand.

Also replacing Carter, King, Reed, and Kimber on Defense won't be easy. I think we need a WR, LB, and DB from the portal before I'd put us in the top 5.

Wake me when we get a legit D1 receiver. Not going to win any real games without them.

Our WR core isn't improved--see where they were ranked in the portal by all publications
Excuses and dealing with reality are two very different things.
Klatt has us ranked one because "this is the blueprint for winning a title, bringing everyone back". It's not "largely on the offense"--he talks specifically about the defense.
Allar may not even have to throw the ball in 10 games to get a win given our OL and RBs
Beau? He was irrelevant last year--when did anyone ever blame Beau for anything other than throwing off the momentum of the offense which was on AK now him.

He didn't lead us to anything. The pick 6 changed the game. Drew outplayed him. Fleming doesn't drop the ball we win by 30

So there was no one playing quarterback for us in the 2nd half? Who was it? I forget his name? Did we have someone playing quarterback? Who replaced Drew? Who was it? Try to spin it any way genius but irrelevant means the player had no impact at all in the game as in he was not in the game. You should understand because you are supposedly a "corporate attorney" (big lol on that being remotely true). Yet he was on the field taking snaps and producing yardage for us. So by definition a quarterback playing can't be irrelevant. And that goes for one that plays horribly which he obviously did not.

Also lol, you have/had nothing against Beau and want us to believe you don't care about him then you have complete creepy, horse's rear end opinionated comments about him.

Let the record show that Lando is already making excuses for Drew...even though we'll have the best RB tandem in the country, a top-5 OL, a potentially excellent young TE, and a WR corps that could not possibly be less impressive than last year's.

Dude, why do you think Joel Klatt has us #1 and every much-too-early ranking I've seen has us in the top-5. It's largely on the strength of the offense...though the D is looking pretty promising too.

I mean, I know you're put out that you won't have Beau to blame but it is what it is: we sink or swim with Drew...and if we sink with him, then all your fanciful excuses ain't gonna cut it.

Jerry you are so right about Loado and Allar. It is ridiculous. The guy could have a horrible game or series of games or even a horrible season and it would be every other player's fault except him. The receivers can't catch, can't run routes. O-Line is terrible, RB missed the blocks. Terrible play calls so he could do nothing with it. On and on with the excuses.

Look I want Allar to have a fantastic season. We all do. But if we lose big games next season and he plays like he has in past big games then he needs to take accountability for that underperformance and for not delivering the results we need.

You could have played QB in the second half and we would have won. Beau was completely irrelevant to our success this year. Beau's gone and we're better for it. Accept that you were wrong. Grunk is the better QB
